Number of strains in 5x5 tent

Have grown outside with success the last couple years after getting off opiates for my chronic pain. This will be my first indoor grow.. I have finally finished my indoor grow area and have a 5x5x8 tent with 3 x 300 vero29 led fixtures from timber grow lights..trying to get all my ducks in a row before i attempt my first indoor grow.
My questions are.. is it smarter to stick with a single strain in a 5x5 tent or do you tent growers do more than one strain at a time.. what are some of the obstacles of multiple strains in a 5x5 tent.. learned all i know from the people on this site.. still trying to get educated enough to grow some superior meds. Appreciate any and all advice.. have a great day everyone.. peace.

You will need to consider the growth rate of the strains. Some grow taller than others thus
light distribution may be an issue. And nute needs may vary from strain to strain.

Often a mix of strains is not a problem, however these are some things to be aware of.

Be sure to label each pot. Else later you will be wondering WTF is this?

I always recommend single strain grows for people who are not very experienced with tent growing. So many more issues arise with multi strain grows. Basic stuff like height tendencies and climate preferences and flowering times, to more complex issues like nutrient requirements. You can do multi strains if you do research and are prepared, but it tends to be a lot more complicated.

The trouble with having lots of different strains is the disparity of finishing times. Sativa doms obviously tend to take longer in flower than Indicas and vice versa. Training the canopy evenly can also be challenge when you have a hodge podge of strains as they all stretch out differently. Not to say that it cannot be done just that it is easier to manage when you have like strains growing together. Try to do alike strains together so they finish in the same time frame when ever possible.

^everything he said....

Where there is a will there is a way but it doesn't mean its worth the hassle.

I did a run of i think 17 different plants and strains. Its not fun but interesting to see the differences in the strains :)
