so its getting to that point where its gonna start putting on bud weight at 4.5 to about 5 weeks flowering. i flushed the soil about a week ago because the tops were getting too dark green and i didnt want it to lock up at that critical point. it seemed to love the flush but now its now looking like a little phosophorus deficiency? could be over fert cause its real rich soil. i fed it a 1/4 teaspoon jacks classic bloom and it didnt seem to slow or accelerate (about two days ago). thats not alot of fert. i havent fed it anything since the first day of flower cause i transplanted on the first day of flower. paradise cheese in a five gallon soil boner.jpgcoolio.jpg

You could show a pic of the whole plant, but I'm not familiar with your
nutes have you grew with "Jack's Classic Bloom" before? Is it made
for the weed plants?

I would say it has a P def, I'm no expert but the purpling of the stems shows it, and the leaves would be way crisp and darker if nute burn. I'd say you could throw some more fertilizer in as long as it's within correct dosages. A flowering plant uses up a lot of nutrients and energy, I waited too long on mine and let it get past the point of no return. do not let this happen to you. best of luck and remember it could also be needing micro nutrients like calcium and magnesium while in flowering

We need to see the whole plant. Never ever transplant a wet plant. This is ridiculous advice. When it dries I would push thru half strength at correct ph. You mentioned lockout but had hardly fed it. No ph mentioned. 1/4 of nutes in how much water ?

Ok... so the plant is how old exactly - about 5 weeks? You probably only have 3-4 weeks to go, so you are at about day 35-40. Starting to have deficiencies at this time is not totally out of place, but you just don't want to be losing more than 25% of the foliage a week. If it's faster than that, its too early and its hungry.

The leaves look a little water stressed, it happens. Probably over or underwatered a couple of times here or there, nothing to be done about that since you are 5 weeks into flower already. I would add more fert or go make a compost tea... or both! A worm casting compost tea is good for the soil life. It could certainly help at this point.

I've had some plants in soil who were heavy feeders and this is what happened to their leaves as I tried to catch up with their hungry asses. Try more fert unless the plant shows new negative signs... otherwise it seems shes just a hog! Good luck man

Why would that be? I exclusively transplant when my soil is "wet".. it keeps the soil together very nicely. Do you suggest transplanting when dry? My experience with that is.. that the root ball is more fragile, the soil tends to fall apart and make a mess, and it makes it harder for the water to penetrate after the initial transplant watering.

Review the problem and the limited info. 5 gallon bucket flushed less that a week ago equals overwater plus you washed away all its food. Plant overwatered and feeding on itself. Now you have watered again with bloom food. Since you are in a 5 gallon bucket repotting is unlikely and soaked roots will not take nutes. Therefore it needs to get dried out. Then fed balanced food 1/4 to 1/2 strength with the next feed being bloom food at 1/4 strength and progressing to full feed. Make sure ph is correct no food or feeding will help if ph is wrong.
