The purple blotches look like phosphorous deficiency. But, it's hard to say under non-natural light.

What soil? What nutes? How often do you water? Ph of what you pour in? Ph of runoff?

Nute are fox farm week 5
happy frog soil
Ph is tap water so 7.6 I believe and the run off I wouldn't know. There is no run off, should their be?
I water every other day
400 hps
Temp 80 f, rh 40
I've grown regs for a year this is my first for name brand kicks, but I'm still a noob
Again thanks for any replies

Do you check the ph of what you pour in? You might be lucky and be at 6.5. But, not knowing seems like a problem.

Runoff ph is handy to know when you have a problem. Not the runoff ph at the point you have the problem, but the trend leading up to it. If you're overfeeding and have a salt buildup, that could acidify the soil and cause lockout. If you saw your runoff go from 6.0 to 5.2, that would be a concern. There is a way to get a more precise reading of your soil's ph via runoff. Google for NCSU Pour-Thru Method. That might be useful if you don't know the trend.

Well I did not understand that article..... yet. So I flushed with rain water. The burn seemed to come to a hault. So hes a question. When it comes to recommended amounts of nutes from the manufacturing company is less more?

You'll almost never see a problem using less than the recommended amount. I have never ph'd my soil or runoff and I have never had lock out either. Maybe I'm just lucky that way. I do use a lot of cal mag, and I have a ridiculous amount of microbial life. I would use less than the recommended amount maybe 3/4 strength for a couple feedings and see how the plant responds.

I run happy frog soil and fox farm nutes. I normally dont feed the plants fox farm until about after 3 weeks because the happy frog soil has a lot of nutes in it already. I then only feed half of what the back of the bottle says per gallon and see how the plant reacts if it needs more i add more next. Thats what i do.

ph run off 6.1
thanks to everyone for your input and am looking foward to your input on this as well

Looks like they got locked out from pH issues to me. 6.8 isn't alarmingly high, but def on the higher end of the scale for sure. Also I noticed you mentioned an out of the tap pH of upper 7's. Is it possible you watered with a pH of that range a couple times? If so, there's your issue.
The leaves don't appear to be maxed out prior to any deficiency issues so can't see it being a fert problem. I also run the Frog and pH my feed water to 6.3. I've personally found this to be the sweet spot for dirt.

There's a few holes in your story bro. Here's a quote from earlier in your thread:
"Ph is tap water so 7.6 I believe and the run off I wouldn't know. There is no run off, should their be?"
Which is it: 6.8 or 7.6?
If it is 6.8, are you adjusting it to lower it further, or are you watering with a pH of 6.8?
Your pH probe was "given" to you? PH probes are very sensitive instruments and are usually worthless after a year max and will need to be replaced. I'm guessing your meter isn't reliable even if it was calibrated three minutes ago. I would highly suggest replacing it, and calibrating it every two weeks, and even then, replacing it at least once a year.
At the very least pick up a pH drop test kit just to contrast your meters test results.
Lastly, Yes. You should have some runoff( just a little) when watering your plants, however in dirt it's not a reliable indicator of root zone pH in my opinion because there's barely any contact time with the media itself before it runs out the bottom. Runoff is a more reliable indicator in hydro.
