Hey guys, so my situation is the following:

Have 3 purple wrecks growing under a 400w, using a soil mix, on the bag it says NPK Fertilizer (12-14-24) 0,75 and Organic Fertilizer (6-7-6) 6,5. Temp is around 77 and have not checked the pH since i started the grow. Plants are 4 weeks old.

At 2 weeks was gowing well nice and green, the following week growth slowed down and in just 2 days the lower leaves got all yellow and some with dead spots.

I assumed it was nutrient deffeciency and that the nutes in the soil where not enough anymore.

So i got some AN iguana juice grow (3-1-3), and the next week i watered every day with nutrients totalling 3 mL per plant. (dont know how to use ppm etc)

The yellowing slowed down..i cut the infected leaves and everything seemed to be fine until 2 days ago the yellowing came back to the lower leaves..its progressing much slower only affecting the tips but all the plants have it..one also has a dryed tip and the leaf just seems cripsy..

Another strange thing is that after starting on the nutrients the plants are asking for water..i used to water every 3 or 4 days..now just 1 day after watering the bottom leaves drop and the top part of the soil is dry..

does she want more nutrients or what? im trying to understand what she wants but just cant..shame to see such potential go to waist..the top growth is not bad at all nice and strong but the bottom ones just show me the plant is not going at 100% and if i dont fix fast its gon.

Sorry for long text super high

how do ph problems look like? i really thought it was lack of nitrogen since the leaves kept yellowing.

some leaves are twisted might be caused by something

Sounds like possible ph prob but I couldnt help but notice that you said you watered with nutes everyday for a week? That would cause nute burn which is displayed in the leaf tips yellowing, and getting crispy although it should be in the new growth first rite experts? Also did you introduce your nutes at 1/4 strength first then work your way up?

Dont feed it nutes in veg.
Flush it, and the bottom leaves die off if they dont get any light mate.
Anymore questions and ask..

Today bought a ph meter, nutrient solution at 6.8 and run off 6.5 so cant be ph..

How can i not feed in veg? The soil has nutes for the starting weeks but the yellowing brown spots on the older leaves says in most websites that its a nute def..i read that yellow leaves, burnt tips and dropping of the older leaves is a nitrogen def..

Nute burn should affect old or new growth right? Please dont give opinions if you dont know the answer thats why i asked for experts because then i just start spending money on the wrong things nothing personal guys.

My guess is too little nutes and the plants need more nitrogen. First week gave 1 mL bellow the recommended (3mL), this new week going to water two times with 2mL each watering

a good idea after getting ph all correct would be getting a ppm meter that way you can test the ppm of your nute water and tell if your nute water is too weak or too strong...

The chances of a plant that small dropping off leaves from a lack of light under a 400w HPS is SERIOUSLY unlikely.

You still haven't answered whether you fed them everyday for a week man thats not a good way to intro nutes only feed every other watering, and yes nute burn starts in the tips of new leaves while N def. would cause overall yellowing from the bottom, look up uncle ben subcool or fdd2blk threads on plant health. Sorry i'd link one but I'm pretty ripped..and lazy, also better close up andfull plant pics would help
