How much nutes you can use depends on strain. Unfortunately I would have to say that IMO there aren't any strains that could handle a double dose without at least severely burning. Most people start with 1/4 nutes, work up to 1/2 strength, and by mid to late flower they hit full strength or a little over. I would think that double wouldn't do anything but burn the hell out of them.

I guess this would also depend on which brand and line of nutes you are using.... So let me backtrack and just say that the recommended doses on the back of the bottles are usually as strong as most plants can handle without dying. These companies want you to use as much of their product as possible, so if you are using double what they recommend there is no way most plants could handle that.

Just monitor your ppm daily or weekly. Give them what they need, you won't see any noticeable difference in yield if you cram nutes down your plants. You might not get little bigger yield but you will have a much lighter wallet spending money on nutes.
