Yes Knowm... they have several drill holes in the bottom of each can. I never water until the weight of the cans feel dry.

for indoor lighting I made up a $25 solution, but if you don't have that to spend I understand.

Walmart has vanities that hold 3 bulbs for $7. CFLs from walmart are 99cents or something ridiculous like that. you'll need plugs too (and a little bit of wiring work) but after about an hour of work and 25-28 bucks this setup was easy and it puts out a lot of light.
