Nutes too early

How long should i wait to introduce nutes to my plants. What strength should i use. I have Fox Farm Grow Big Hydro and Superthrive.

half strength and the soil will provide the plant with nutes for a week or two tops

I use 1/4 strength. but then i only use clones so the plants are used to nutes. Then after 2 weeks i go to 1/2 then a week later i go to full strength.
