Nutes!!!!

i have a question about nutrient strength or stretching them in general. i was wondering if anybody knew if i was able to just decrease the amount of water in my rez to increase strength of nutes rather than increasing amount of actual liquid nutes added.
an example would be
Week 1 60 Gallons with G-M-B at 22oz-16oz-8oz
Week 2 45 Gallons with G-M-B at 22oz-16oz-8oz Instead of
Week 1 60 Gallons with G-M-B at 22oz-16oz-8oz
Week 2 60 Gallons with G-M-B at 32oz-21oz-12oz

would the ppms go up on the first example???

??????????????:joint:
You can do what you say but i must grow differently than you because idk how I would apply that concept to my growing habits...
I basically just top off the res with water and take a tds reading and adjust it next time

How often do you top it off? probably based upon water level right? When you said adjust it next time you mean adding a bit of each base nutes, or an additive or some sort thx moash for the info

I top off everyday...i use water first and based on that tds reading, i either add nutes or water the next time i top off,and so on

ohhh ok i get it, to mantain the same water to nutrient ratio. Do you think the plants grow slower and slower if you dont top off and the water slowly diminishes, as well as ppm? I set my rez at 1150, i came back it was 1123, so i didnt lose that much ppm but i probably lost 25% of the water in the rez. what do u think???

Lets see if I can explain this....
If you top off with water and the ppm is lower than what it was, then the plant needs nutrients
If the ppm is higher, then it needs water......remove some solution from the res and water until the proper ppm is reached
Sounds like you need to feed them

ok so everytime i come back and my water levels are low add water then check ppm if its lower than i want i add nutes, if higher i add more water, correct??? what if my water level decreased and my ppms staid the same, would that be possible even lol.

correct..you will catch a feel for it
that would mean they need to be fed.....
