hi all im just wondering if any 1 could explane nutes and the terms ect

like 10-10-10

10-30-10 stuff like that as well as whts meant buy half , med and high strength nuts ect stuff like that,, would help meout a lot thnx

Sure, bud.

With numbers like #-#-#, that is the N-P-K.

You want more N (so, a higher first number) for veg, and higher P and K (so higher second two numbers) for flowering.

What thegrowman said. The terms half, med, i think you might be mixed up. The term half strength is meaning to how much nutes you are to feed your plants. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

Why do that when you can buy nutes that are 20-20-20. This kind of nutes give you equal nutrients across the board during growth. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

Whts produts are being used in the 20-20-20 ,,??some links would be nice,,

10-10-10 means 10%nitrogen 10%phosphorus 10%pottasium. plants need more nitrogen and phosphorus in the veg state. more phosphorus and potassium in the flower state. start nutes about 2or 3 weeks in veg at only about an 1/8 of what the directions say. gradually bring the strength up as plants grow. dont overdo nutes dont overwater, you cant really get individual products w/seperate npk ratios. i personally use miricle grow bc i cant find anyof the products that are popular on riu.just make sure u use at very weak strength to start- when its time to flower miricle grow has something called bloom booster with higher p&k ratios. its takes a lot of reading diiferent opinions to figure out what u want to do-but just eep looking over the site- youll get it. read the faqs. best of luck. so far mine are ok

as someone said above, u need more nitrogen in veg(after about 3-4weeks) and more phosphorus and potassium in flowering.

hey where did you get that miricle grow 20-20-20 and the botanicare? i cant find that ratio anywhere and i cant find anything boticare at all.
