I had a nutrient additive poll for flowering before this subforum popped up and I thought it would be cool to put another poll in the Nutrients section, so this is the nutrient brand poll.

What brand(s) of nutrients do you like the best! That is, best plant food around, above all else.

I tried to include most of the common brands because the poll only gets 10 options.

If it is a generic all purpose gardening NPK like Shultz or Miracle Gro just pick Miracle Gro.
you know what i would do is go to the hydro store and talk to them about what your doing and how your doing it.they will help you find the right nutrients for your grow.Thats what i did the can help you out alot.

I like advanced is my first grow and things are goin smoothly. Also is easier for me to get advanced. Is always in stock a local i goto.It was highly recommended and a dummie sheet on how much nutes to put in came with it.
i voted for AN cuz it hasn't given me probs like other nutes have in the past...

all i did was use the nute calc on the Advanced site and got great results the first time thru

stuck with em ever since

cool forums here, just got back online after some time off the grow - good to be back

advanced nutrients are proven to be the top above fox farm, botanicare and others granite you pay more but they cost less. I shop at hydro garden center they give me 15-20% off advanced nutes cuz i shop there a lot sites www.hydrogardencenter.com

I wouldn't say it's my favorite, since it's all I have used. I'm only on my second grow.

I voted for FoxFarm.

I voted for General Hydroponics because I often use their dry fertilizers: MaxiGro, MaxiBloom, and KoolBloom.

Honestly, these dry ferts work as well for me as anything else, and I'm pretty much of a nute whore who's tried most everything. Dry ferts are easy to work with, being clean, easy to measure out, and highly concentrated.

Right now I'm running Cutting Edge Solutions' 3-part GH Flora knockoff. Actually, my plants like the Cutting Edge stuff even better than the GH stuff, but that's not a very scientific observation. Just personal...

An out-of-left-field contender for me is the Formula X from Cornucopia Plus. This one liquid is meant to be used throughout veg AND flower. So far, it's been scary good to my plants. I want to run some side-by-sides before I fly off the handle, but Formula X has the potential to outshine them all. It's that good.

CNS17 has always worked just fine, pretty much the same as GH Flora Series, the GH Maxi series, and the Cutting Edge 3-part series. These are all great, rock-solid performers. With each of these nutes making great fertilizer, and as cheap as they all are, any competitor has a pretty high standard to match.

I use General Hydroponics FloraNova Bloom, and that's it (from seed to bong).

Have gallons of free samples of other shit, but see no need for them (although I did use some Roots Xcellurator in my rapid rooters for this cloning run to see if there's any difference).

Might give a try to some Floralicious or Boombastic samples that I have, but again, I doubt it.

Lucas Formula, change my res every couple of months - no problems at all.

I use canna aqua in a DWC bubbler tried i have tried GH, Botanicare but now use Canna incredible growth rate almost automatic PH balance its like its self adjusting seems to know what PH level the tank needs and the Cannazyme and Rhizotonic are awsome.
Only problem is its pretty expensive, but i find i can use 1/2 to 1/3 suggested strength with good results. But by looking at this poll i might try a run of advanced nutrients looks to be popular.

really odd that advanced nutrients went from tied with GH and FF to like 3x in the lead, and no one posted about it at all...
