I have a Hydro System I made myself. It waters for 15 mins every 6 hours . I use LED and CFL Bulbs. 18/6... For the nutrient Solution I used and mixed in the following order

10 Gallons Tap Water
PH is about 5.5-6
90ML Micro
180ML Bloom
22ML Cal-Mag
10ML Flavoricious
20ML Rapid Starter

Nutrients seem to maybe be on the High End, but is it to much? I don't have a EC or PPM Meter, but I do have a PH tester from GH.

I have 6 (5 Gallon) buckets with Cyco Pellets mixed with Organic Coco Coir. 6 Plants

This is my First Grow, So I'm inexperienced These Plants are 9 Days old From Seeds

I'm using the Lucas Formula. The Nutrients are All General Hydro Flora. Isnt Lucas formula good for both Stages of the plant?

They aren't supposed to be receiving nutrients on this level for "the first three weeks" which is a bland statement. So let's say until the cotyledon leaves turn yellow. But the plants are taking it really well so..

I'm planning on going with Lucas myself but not until after the stretch is over.

Your mix does seem about twice as high or more than I would feed even plants on their fourth node. It's even higher than what I usually give large plants in ProMix that are growing fast under HID.

If they can take it they should grow like crazy once they get some size to them.

Good luck!

Here is Day 10 (Next Day)

I upped my PH a bit and I also sprayed the leaves with straight PHd Water

They seem to bIMG_0070.JPG IMG_0071.JPG IMG_0072.JPG IMG_0074.JPG IMG_0075.JPG e growing quickly. The LED's are also Full Spectrum 5k

The T12s aren't doing much good that far away from the plants. Should try having it right over the tops of the plants and add the CFLs on the sides when the plants get bigger. Each tube is around 3000 lumens and way better light than those small wattage CFLs. The cool white are around 6500K and the warm white are closer to 2700K. I like the Daylight Ultra ones but all T12s are getting hard to find these days.

I'm using a bank of 8 T12s right now to veg 6 - 18" plants and they are 2" above the tops while the lower leaves are dying off from lack of light. Trying to get to the city 2 hours away to get a new 400W veg bulb for my Metal Halide to get them going better. Maybe tomorrow.

You'll be good for a while with the CFLs but will need better lighting before long. Either some sort of LED or HID light. At a minimum you'll need bigger CFLs of at least 5000 - 6500K @23W to get the plants vegged to a decent size and then another set of the 2700K if you want to flower under CFLs which won't really do a very good job of flowering.

I just looked back at the first post where I see you mentioned a mix of LED and CFL but I must of missed the LED part. I'm not at all sure how effective the little LEDs are so don't really know how many of those you should use.

They look good for now so all is fine as far as I can see. I don't ever spray my plants and they really don't need to be sprayed. Even when I take cuttings for clones I just spray the inside of the dome to keep the RH really high. Excess water on the leaves washes out nutrients and can cause mold and mildew problems.

I have some bronze looking spots all over my leaves. Not sure what this could be from. This is Day 42, How do they look? Any recommendations?
How do they look?.....I don't know all I see is pinkish purple plants. When asking for assistance, take the LED light off your plants so we can see the true colors.

They are 45 Days in Vegging. I'm not sure when to start flowering, and i'm not sure how to tell if these are girls or boys. i'm a little concerned with some of the reddish veins and claw looking leaves. other then that it looks good so far. Any advice?
