Nutrients *Help*

I've searched the web endlessly looking for a basic set of nutrients/additives for DWC hydro systems & have came up extremely empty handed. What I've gathered so far from my campaign of reading is that you need a GROW & BLOOM nutrient selection as well as a ph down/up additive. As well as something to increase the oxygen potency + some sort of calcium additive.

From what I've gathered so far is to throw everything together & hope it works. But I'd rather have some experienced growers tell me what I should do in the ways of nutrients(Brand names would be life savers), Because I've been working on coming indoors & it is extremely exhausting and information is sketchy at best when searching Google.

As far as a feeding schedule goes I've read that you want to feed and clean at least once a week & to watch the Ph & check the ppm of the different solutions. If there are any tips you could give me that would be a great help & much appreciated.

Please and thank you everyone who will take there time to post here.

Save yourself a lot of expense and go with Dyna-Gro. I use Pro-tekt and Foliage Pro(i use it in the DWC like any other nute, not foliar) during Veg and then switch to a 50/50 mix of the Foliage Pro and Bloom during flower. I drop the Pro-tekt during the last few weeks of flower. I do use ph up/ph down occasionally, but Dyna-Gro is very stable using my water strait out of the tap. I also use a bit of Pond Zyme to help keep the roots clean, one bottle will make enough to last you a lifetime. homebrewer has a good thread around the forums somewhere about his use and support of Dyna-Gro products. Don't get lost in the hype of bottled additives.

Amen to that!

Please take note of the additives and nutrients that the most experienced growers, on RIU, say they use.
NONE of them claim they use any of the ADVANCED brands....
Being new to growing AND young seems to be the demographic for a certain brand.

Just so I'm clear you're saying I Should go with dyna-grow for the veg and then switch over to foliage pro and dyna-gro bloom formula?
-Dyna-gro veg. formula
-Dyna-gro bloom formula
-pro-tekt
-Foliage pro
-Pond zyme

Also at what ppm do you do at each stage of growth? (Or there is some formula I Should use)[ Trying to learn the math/science behind everything ]
I've been getting most of my info from http://www.weedfarmer.com/cannabis/hydroponics101_guide.php, http://www.weedfarmer.com/closet_culture/Contents.htm

Thanks for the tip, also I'm not sure if you're referring to me or not but yes I'm very new to indoor growing / I'm a vet to outdoor growing however. (So I'm grateful for all of the help I'm getting :) )

I'd check out CANNA
They do base nutes for VEG and FLOWER
aimed at AQUA or HYDRO.

I use AQUA VEGA A & B
I don't change to FLORE when I flip to FLOWER
I also use ZYM and RHIZOTONIC
pH UP and pH DOWN.

Next crop I may add PK13/14 and a Mag supplement.

All the BUD MEGA BOOST stuff is regular nutes
AND EXPENSIVE AMOUNTS OF ADVERTISING.

Greetings:
I also use/have a DWC system and have used the Flora Nova grow and Flora Nova bloom and Cool bloom for all my grows so far. The first nutt system I used I had to mix a number of bottles and it was a pain in the butt. With the Flora Nova you add just what you need for your system and plant stage. I have just started a Critical Kush so I the seedling amount of ½ tsp per gallon and that’s it.
For ph test what water source you are going to be using if it is high then just get a ph down if you screw up and put in to much you can use as I do baking soda to bring up the ph I have also read you can use lemon juice to lower ph just never tried it. And as with everything there are many opinions as to what is best and it kinda take time and experience to weed out what is true. I feed or do a solution change once a week on Fridays and calibrate my ph meter that’s it I check the ph daily and adjust as necessary. I hope this helps and good luck.

imo, first time/new indoor growers should start in dirt, but that's me. you're asking questions you should already know. to pull off a dwc for your first time is kinda asking for trouble. what i'd do if i were you; look around the forum and find someone who is doing (successfully) what you wanna do and copy him. the brand of nutes you use is really not important. (avoid miracle grow though, lol.) make sure each plant has 5 gallons of water, and avoid ph problems. top off with properly ph'd water till you change out your rez. pretty difficult to get it right by adding nuted top off.
