As if there wasn't enough disgust yesterday when we saw the pictures of Obama's photo-op at Dover, Delaware where he saluted for the cameras as a serviceman's coffin was carried off the plane -

Today it comes out that there were eighteen bodies being removed from the plane and seventeen of the familes refused Obama his photo-op. But the finally found one willing to say yes so Obama was hustely out of the chopper and into position for the photo we have seen. This shows he cares.

Kinda like when they found a few doctors from the AMA and a couple of Soros's groups that support his Health Care Reform? Then they say "the doctors are for this", despite the fact that only 10% belong to the AMA and a VAST majority of doctors are firmly opposed to this plan. Oh and dont forget your lab coat.

You can almost picture the 17 other families sitting there shaking their heads in disgust. I found it pathetic and in poor taste to turn the return of our fallen soldiers into a self serving photo op. The back story only cements it.

A cynical ploy to garner support.

I thought it was bad before - when Obama's advisers appeared merely incompetent for even allowing a camera.

Where did you get this information?

if this is true, then i have to agree. tasteless photo-ops make a mockery of a grim situation.
few things piss me off more than a politician focusing on his own marketing during a war.
only thing that pisses me off more is situational ethics.

Actually, a majority of doctors favor a single payer system. They have for DECADES, long before this current attempt at reform.

The truth of the matter is, when they declined the videotaping, those families of the fallen had NO IDEA that Obama would be there when they caskets were unloaded. Had all the families declined taping, Obama would not have shown up. Since one family did agree to participate, Obama was there. Bush wouldn't allow the taping during his administration because he feared the images would decrease support for his war. Does Obama want fewer people to support the war? I'm sure he probably does. Can you imagine how difficult it must be to stand there and watch the bodies of people who died because of a war that he's associated with? Those men died because Obama didn't bring them home sooner. I doubt he gets any feelings of satisfaction from knowing that, and if he wants the public to oppose the war, good on him! It's about time we had a leader who wasn't a bully and a warmonger.

He's had 10 months to reduce troops. Have any come home? No. You know it...I know it...he's going to increase troops levels in Afghanistan. A place btw that is impossible to achieve any victory in. The British tried and failed...TWICE. The Soviets were there for TEN FUCKING years and failed.

only faggot liberals use evidence conservatives go by the gut like stephen colbert lol

please faggot liberals make shit up and then get all pissy when brought to task on the lies.

Like the White House going after Edmunds.com for doing an honest...yet negative analysis of the Cash for Clunkers program. Edmunds had the program costing the American taxpayer $24,000 PER CAR. Edmunds basically called the program a large failure and had data to back up their claims. I think the White House called them Nazi's or something as a response. lmao.

You know, this was just a ploy to garner media attention to make Obama look good. You know its a media ploy because Obama alerted no one he was going to do this except THE MEDIA. Now if it had been reported that Obama had gone to the body unloading to show his respects and alerted no one but immediate family, SS, etc then I would be all on board, but since its just for propaganda purposes I see it as a ploy to garner support. Besides why ask family members unless you want to splash that dead soldier all over the networks to show how much you care. When your approval ratings are sinking like rocks in a pool you have to do something.

Obama is just doing what he said. In a speech he was talking about calling out people who spread disinformation. He knows just how easy it is to confuse a red neck so he's calling out liars so ya'll can actually know what's going on.
