So what do you think about it? Barack Obama and Ron Paul? I think it could work........maybe alittle Ying/Yang??
I agree with you, but you gotta understand that there are to many people out there that would not give him a chance.....the reason i was thinking this is due to the fact that the R & D canidates are pretty locked in and if Paul were to hold VP he would have a direct impact on policy and shit! Sadly i believe it would be the best chance we'd have to get Paul in a position to make a real difference.Obama is not in America's best interest. Ron Paul, or someone like him, is our best chance at saving America's sovereignty.
I hope you are enjoying the circus.
I'm pretty sure if Obama picked paul for VP, a percentage would desert the ship and vote McCain. I wouldn't mind that combo at all.
That is something I never once considered. However, being as familiar with the good doctor as I am, I sort of doubt he would do well with Obama. Obama has already shown during his tenure in Illinois and now as senator that he is just as much for sale as the next guy. Ron Paul's integrity is too strong to cotton to that without some serious objections. So what do you think about it? Barack Obama and Ron Paul? I think it could work........maybe alittle Ying/Yang??
Sadly, I agree. Most Americans are too ignorant, naive, or just plain stupid to realize what's been going on in Washington. Washington feels the same way, which is why the politicians and the lobbyists make the policy of "whats best" for America.I'm pretty sure if Obama picked paul for VP, a percentage would desert the ship and vote McCain. Indeed. Although I think the current administration used it as toilet tissue first. Then they hung it in our faces, pointed at us and said "See.. look what YOU made us do."Oh, just seeing them debate the Constitution would be fucking RICH. Seeing as how Obama used to teach constitutional law but seems to have forgotten every bit of it... or maybe he just threw the spirit of the document out the window after he wiped his ass with it.
See thats the thing.....Ron Paul would keep him honest! Plus after B.O's first 4 I'm sure Paul would have stirred things up enough to be a real shot for the R canidate....That is something I never once considered. Why can't they be in the same room together? Maybe if someone would actually do something like this it would show that differences don't really mean shit, its about compromise. I don't know, I think it would be amazing and have written both Paul and Obama, and will continue to do so!O'Bama and Ron Paul in the same room together? Never happen.
On the other hand, they could put the gloves on and debate the positives and negatives of the Federal Reserve, the Income Tax, The Drug War, The War on Poverty, Affirmative Action, The Welfare State ... and all the other BS that Ron Paul would win on hands down. ~lol~
