Hi, Dank ... Welcome back. Hope all is OK with your Mom.

On the debate ... Several folks have pointed out that McCain "wouldn't" look at O'Bama. I taped the event and after watching it a couple of times, it was plain to see that McCain was taking notes and looking down at his note pad while he was writing.

I think McCain looked more "presidential" than O'Bama. Oddly enough, O'Bama started seven of his statements by saying: "I agree with John ...."

Maybe McCain didn't look Obama in the eyes for the same reason he wouldn't meet with socialist dictators without pre-conditions. You give them undeserved credence. Marxists punks don't deserve respect; they deserve ire.

Well, Obviously by the look of your thread you are an Obama supporter and appear to be actively campaigning for Obama, so I do not really think it necessary to debate you in this forum.

As far as reading your thread it is one sided and picks out what it wants to in regards to both candidates, thus your thread and supposed facts are not all the facts and it favors Obama. Just as a thread that openly supports McCain will favor and point our facts to reflect nicely on him. None of these will show either of their voting records to their entirety!!! That is a fact!!!

Frankly, I haven't decided who I will vote for. One thing that is very clear to me is that if Obama does get voted in it will appear to the world that we are a desperate nation grasping at desperate measures. This may well indeed be true, I think we are somewhat desperate, however, I firmly believe that it is in our nations best interest to not appear so to the rest of the world!!

PS: Did you know the peace sign you display at the end of your entry is really the sign of satanist!...LOL maybe Obama is the antichrist afterall...LMAO:clap:

As a person who works in healthcare I will say that socialised medicine is already and has long been here. Don't believe me? Go to ANY hospital and tell them your chest hurts, don't provide any ID or tell them anything about yourself and render no form of payment. Leave after they treat you as they are required by law to do. Tah-dah free health care...it happens all the time and taxpayers fund it. I have seen illegal immigrants with a sick kid who had no chance of surviving say "do everything possible to save my child" (in spanish of course) and then when the kid dies 1 week/500k later the parents dissappear and healthcare workers are not allowed to notify INS or inquire about the familys citizenship status. Like I said, socialized insurance has been around for quite a while already.

Unfortunately it's true that voting records of these idiots can be found pretty easy, but how many people have the time (including these guys voting on these bills) to read them to see how they feel about these laws. Look at how many times a good bill has a terrible attachment to it (like funding troop money that has a small section that takes away human rights) and if you just looked at the record on this you could twist a vote either way. "oh you voted to take away human rights" or "You voted to NOT fund our troops" lots of these bill have stupid projects like a bridge to nowhere, schools on toxic waste dumps, patriot acts, $100 toilet seats, civil rights violations, celebrations of Coast Guard symbols, dedications to parks, funds and grants for private corporations that didn't need to bid on projects, ect....

So while looking at voting records is helpful, you must take them with a grain of salt.

That is such an ignorant statement. Your telling me we have nothing to debate with. Go watch one of obamas speech and then we'll have a debate on both candidates issues/policys
Then go vote for universal health care, or better yet why dont you go check out a country that has it? See how well its doing anywhere else.
