@rob333 seems to think I am lying about the cost of ocean forest in california, so how much are you guys paying for it? He claims he is talking to the rep who said it can't be lower than $19 a bag lol. I get it for $500 a pallet or $10 per bag for less than a pallet.

Even if your not in California, how much you paying?

Really that much? I haven't seen it over $12 up north
I think so... They beat us up on everything down here... I 'll check on it this week and make sure. Normally when I go to the store I buy a few things so I could be off.. What's crazy is the price of Roots Organic. That stuff is around $25 if I remember correctly.

10-13.00 depending on which store I got to. 16.00 from HTG and IF I want fruit flies in my soil. I only get them from HTG (grosebeck), no where else.

I've been paying 12.50 in the Santa Cruz, CA area. Could probably search and find it a little cheaper but I love everything about the place I go and feel like they deserve an extra dollar or so given the environment and the level of customer service they provide.

Why don't people just make there own soil ??? i mean something like 5 bags of top soil , bag of peatmoss, bag of sand bag of sheep manure, or any other manure, perlite sea compost and you got even a better soil more soil for half the cost of buying same amount of ocean forest ..
