Best part is these stores are mostly owned by LP's. So the hurt is gonna be 2 folded eventually. Factory closures and store closures.
Now it's not all too bad really. Best part is they are providing places to meet new and nice folks. Make new friends so to speak.
I call these stores...."new recruit customer opportunity centers".
Maybe we could offer a buy back program.

There is no LP stores around here, maybe a little being dumped through some of the other stores if anything.

Someone asked in conversation for advice about opening one of these so called licensed dispensaries. I laughed and told him it would be like throwing his money in a hole. Plus I won’t shop at your store ever again, and I’m telling everybody that will listen. The idea got canned pretty quick.

I seen one of these licensed places in the city and they had a crowd control walkway maze thing built to get in the front door. It looked pretty silly with no customers standing in it.

Honestly I cannot believe the government was able to dupe these shop keepers out of all those license, excise, and other fees. I have to wonder if they even consume the products they sell. I wouldn’t.

Alberta has the highest number of pot stores and yesterday I heard on the CBC that the gov't doesn't expect to see a profit for another 3 years. Stores here like liquor stores are privately owned but get their products from a gov't distributor so store profits depend on sales at each store.

Can't sell our pot, can't sell our oil and now have the CONservatives back in power to turn back the clock 50 years and finish the destruction. :(
