Odd Germination Timing

Outside, on a tray, I have some blue agaves in 6" pots....I noticed yesterday that a weed seed has just sprouted up beside one of them....It's been in the 20's at night and no more than 60 in the daytime....I thought it required some heat to sprout.....Isn't this a bit odd?

I suppose...I think that I will repot the agave into a gallon pot, so that the weed's roots will have room to grow, and repot again when it's larger.

I find the situation to be of your own making. You come to T&T and ask a grow-relevant question.

That is not what this subforum is for.

But what ultimately killed you is that you responded to to a really quite gentle elaboration of Test Protocol with an attitude and a snark about our apparent level of education.

This is a bad, bad combo for a low-count poster whose username means I AM A SOCK PUPPET ACCOUNT in the original Estonian. Who else would be drawn to T&T, make a weak bid to fit in, yet vent contempt with very nearly no provocation?

You have been marked by the T&T Action Squad! Onward, Buttercup!!

"Sock "was used in my post...Try, Try again.hahaha
It appears that you have a recurrent issue with education and the lack of it. You do like to come here and have your ass handed to you.

What I find really offensive about that is the failure of self-determination. A self-respecting willy sock would provide his own masochistic self-flagellation and not rely on his betters to provide it.

That was some of the mildest "heckling" I've ever seen here; and the response elicited is surprising. Anyway, simple answers won't be found.
OP spend some time reading about population genetics, genetic homogeneity and evolution; then you'll get an idea of why you had an outlier
I asked Santa for a better idiot for Christmas. Oh well, one out of two ain't bad.
