Odd looking buds ??

Hi

I have never seen buds like the one on my white widow plants. Is this normal or have I done some thing wrong ??

Ive questioned these buds, some say normal for some strains, ive seen them when ive screwed up or overferted (possibly ammonium toxicity lush growth etc etc).

Mainly they smoke ok but i dont know much more than that.

I could guess that they stalled at an early stage then resumed growth making the bud run some what and producing finger like appendages.

Your guess is as good as mine but good if someone had a more convincing answer

They look great, they are pretty dark green though. You might want to dial back the N any time. I prefer chunky buds to hairy buds.

Had that happen to a redline kush recently. I overwatered the fuck out of it, roots were only 4" deep down a 3 gallon pot. Never let it dry out too. You may have done the same? Looks like my water related damage, but yeah - still smokable.

Probably humidity but it looks good and must be real close to finished
Some strains have a tendency to do that more than others too

Ya a lot of primo cheese comes in like that here but ive only ever had it once or twice, pretty sexy looking and would get my money

Yep just light foxtailing. Some strains are predisposed to foxtailing. Its just how they grow. Sometimes caused by heat or light stress.... To close to the light. If its caused by heat not just a genetic trait you will notice a loss in yield but yes smokes great. My lemonstar/strawberry cheesecake makes nice dence buds but even a lil to close to the light and they foxtail badly.

Over watering possibly I use auto pots

Light 600watts of cobs and 600watts of hps

Genes possibly

Over fertilizing I follow the canna feed chart with a and b I just add super thrive and top dressing with bat and worm poop teas

That's a foxy looking bitch.

She'll be fine. Just have to be a little more careful when trimming so you don't cut off those tails.

Not really extra bud. The caylex are stacking instead of clustering
