duh! should have posted here originally, disregard the post on the indoor grow section and mods plz delete it (Im high....)

I was just wondering if any of you guys have suggestions for a simple organic grower who wants to control the odor of a future closet grow :blsmoke:

problem is that I cant mod the closet, ie drill holes and such for the exhaust...and Im having a really difficult time trying to figure out an alternative. I can keep the air fresh if I keep my windows open, but the odor will def be an issue.

any suggestions?

I had an idea I thought about using. Buy a cheap interior door at a home improvement store. Find a door vent, like a flat peice of metal that has slots cut in it. Cut an appropriate sized hole in the door, rectangular like the vent. Get a carbon filter that fits the size of the hole + extra, cut to fit. Put a fan behind it to coax air through. I can draw a picture for a visual if you need.

if I got u right..ur talking about replacing the door and then exhausting the air through a vent in that door?

thats actually a fucking awesome idea :) you could even make it cheaper by buying some plywood or something instead of an actual door. Im def keeeping this as an alternative!

Yes plywood May be a cheaper alternative, but I was thinking of a more covert grow op. A plus to the door though is that I have seen them for less than $20 and you can still open and close them on hinges rather than lugging around plywood.

To hide it you could always use Pepper's Ghost Trick with Two mirrors and have it reflect a legitimate area of the room with proper lighting :)
