passed the smell test. will know better as my 'kids' mature and get to reeking with the sweet smell of weed. IF they do. Amazing stuff....and its a STONE!! also have party favor bags, ~3" size or so hung strategically around the place to absorb any and all smells. I'm a happy camper. cheaper than carbon filters, which wear out.....
Please can you also link us up in here for future post readers?

im gonna go with the eco plus 4" filter, i plan on only growing 2 plants, its a little pricey but i rather be safe than sorry and not having to worry about it smelling, also im going to get some vent inserts that i found at Lowes, you put them in the heater vent exit and it throws a fragrence like an air freshener would.

Wait man what are you trying 2 say? You mean 2 tell me that if someone squeeled about my crops growing in my house they could take it away!
What you mean pull my head out? Everyone on this site is taking the same risk as i am-some ppl more! What about you? You got nothing 2 worry about or what?

given that this website is for medical marijuana patients i will assume that you are one. Depending on your state you have a maximum amount of plants that you must stay below. If you go over that amount and do not have a good lawyer the house may be forfeited. If anything, keep your grow room under 99 plants. The 99 comes from the federal limit. Once you go over 99 - the feds step in and the state law can no longer protect you as a patient. If anything, If you had a rental agreement with 'pops' - it should be able to hold up in court so that the house would not be forfeited. A landlord could claim that he/she didn't know what was going on and say that It is not a landlord's business what goes on in the rental property/area - as long as bills are paid and there are no complaints from others. If you are not a medical marijuana patient - i'd have to say go find a place suitable up in the woods nearby without foot traffic and set up shop there. lol

In short, yes - the government can seize your parents property, and even your own (med patient or not - but med patients have more rights).

That's why even if you had a medical card (or not) you need to keep it on the HUSH... cause if you don't keep it on the hush... that stupid ex girlfriend of yours, or dumb ass friend will purposely or accidently leak some information to the wrong people and you might just get robbed for your stash (police or not)

And if you're old enough, which you should be - if you were able to sign up for this thread/blog service... have a talk with your old man... and tell him what the deal is... man up - or move out.

we all take risks - you should try to determine the risk and minimize the risk by taking appropriate actions - which you are attempting with your research on the topic.

if you want to go cheap. one of those automatic air fresheners that spray when you are within range.

I'd go with the carbon filter - read many good things about it - but haven't tested mines yet. If you make a carbon filter - make sure you get the right carbon (not for aquariums) with a good rating (pore size for proper absorption) - make sure you pack it in properly and use the correct fan (cfm rating shouldn't be too fast or too slow) and make it at LEAST an inch thick layer of carbon.

As for myself - i love the smell...but i made a DIY carbon filter along with a CAP Ozone Jr. for more precautions and a automatic glade spray in my bathroom for kicks. i haven't tried to grow indoors for a handful of years - and never worried about the smell. i barely started flowering for 2 weeks. So only time will tell if all of those precautions will work.

kind of sad you have to a couple hundred of dollars trying to get rid of it. good luck

I'm suprised no one has mentioned ozone generators and ionizers and how the final crop turned out. Does one or both harm plants? I have 12 plants in the basement and was wondering if I could use one of these products on the main floor of the house and not have negative affect on flavor, production, quality, ect. I've used big carbon filters but they only last one grow max, and they are kinda expensive. If these machines last a lifetime and don't effect the weed, why not? Any thoughts, anyone?
