Odor Gel for Grow Box

Ok I have a pc size grow box and I am wondering is it better to put the odor gel inside the (box next to the plant) or outside the box ( on top of it) ?? Help will be much apreaciated

I would put it outside right by your exhaust so it kills the scent as it is coming outta the box

also, what size tub of gel will i need?
