OG Kush clones hardly budding - 5 weeks flower

I posted this in the organics forum, but I realized this is probably a better forum for my problem.

Quick rundown:

All in FFOF soil

PH 6.1-6.5

Nutes

Veg 100-700PPM

Bloom 750 -1000PPM



Current Nute formula
Nute formula PER 1 GALLON of RO water
Pure Blend Pro Bloom 36ml
Sweet 30ml
Liquid Karma 12ml
Cal-mag 8.5ml
PPM 900-1000

hmmmm....... And its been 5 weeks since your first pistil sighting or 5 weeks since you cut the lights back to 12/12? Thats odd they are very very tiny for that age GL bro.

Its been 5 weeks since I switched them to 12/12..and the biggest buds are like pea sized

Yeah I know...obviously they are missing something. They should be bigger. I know OG is a bunch of small buds, but these have developed hardly anything...just small little buds, with white hairs, and no trich production.

I have another OG plant, that is looking 10X bigger, with lots of sticky trich production.


Other than that the plants look really healthy......I dont get it.

These are also clones from a MMJ provider, so they should be on medical cannabis kush levels

Well maybe you got a shit pheno or just shit genetics for that time man. I'm not in a med state so everything I get is from seed and 100% genetics. I feel for ya for having put all that work in. Shit try purchasing some seeds finding you a mother plant and keep her for clones that way YOU KNOW what you got is accutally what you got hahaha if that makes sense.

Do you have complete darkness during your night period?

and also is your light close enough for good production??

even small light leaks kill production, will also cause hermies. get a chaep light meter from local nursery and check light output at tops of plants. thats alot of plants for a 600w

Like said above, it could just be either shitty genetics or a different pheno than your other Kush that produces very late in it's cycle. I know some strains that are like that, they really just take off during their last few weeks. If it's healthy, just let it go and see what happens.

give it time, all phenos are different, how sure are you its og? i know ogs yield very low, so maybe it just wont yield fast, ive seen plants take off after week 6-7 give er time gal

Yeah I know its OG for sure... I saw the buds it can produce....and I realize OGs yeild really low..but these buds are not sticky icky like they should be. But I'm hoping these are late trich producers ....I wouldn't be complaining if they were sticky icky buds, but they are just BLAH, smell like nothing, after 5 weeks of flower.....but I am hoping they will start producing trichs any day now...

No, its all dark where the plants are flowering. I am thinking it is N overdose. I read on the RUI sticky post that too much nitrogen delays flowering, so I'm hoping thats it. If they don't improve in a couple days, I am going to flush with clearex and start at a low ppm of like 500.

yea dude I agree ur leaves look reeeally dark green.

Hmmm might be a factor. I know my girl is a nutrient hog, about the 2nd week into flowering she started yellowing from the bottom up. I know this is normal but damn I was surprised at how fast haha.

i don't think its to much N because your other plant looks just as dark and it is growing fine. you should read about phenos

Im runnin OG and at 5 weeks now. Always at this time the nail biting begins.. "Are they gonna fill in?.. Are they gonna trych out?" My OG's are smaller than other strains at this stage of the game. Smaller flowers, and a lot of leg room between em. I would encourage someone still in this boat to hold tight, give them some carbo load (250 ml/ 50 gal). Super Bud Blaster at about half strength, run em up to 1300-1400 ppm, and relax. They'll be fine. There like 6 different fenos that I know of for OG. If those came from LA, they are probably the Grease variety, which is closest to the original. They are just kinda late bloomers. It is said that they are done at 56 days, i like to give em a few more. One would be amazed what they can do in the final 4 weeks. How'd those turn out btw?
