since they've been recently sprayed with calmag... I woudnt spray them again with anything

except you could try a light spraying with plain water to rinse the fertilizer off your plant from the calmag spray

how often are you water?
is your humidity in range?

I will get some epson salt. I started with distilled h20 but switched to filtered tap at 2 weeks.
Only nute was one tablespoon/gal of grow big
Fed two times with the grow big.
Fed one time with 3ml/gal cal mag.

Was root bound, so wasn't draining too well. But now 5 gal fabric pot with Ocean Forest and 30 percent perlite.
Temps range 72-75F humidity 45%

grow big as in fox farm nutes?

are the npk numbers on the bottle 6-4-4

if you fed 1tbs as is 15mls per gallon of fox farm grow big npk 6-4-4

you need to leach heavy

that's way too much N

super shit load

the fox farm nutes im am not a fan of at all

none of there products carry any calcium in them

the labels are unreliable, itll say "derived from magnesium sulfate" and then list no magnesium in the % info

since your in soil im sure we can make it work

youll need the bloom

mix for bloom
per gallon
3mls grow
6mls bloom
7 mls calmag
1/8 tsp Epsom salt

mix for veg
per gallon
4mls grow
6mls bloom
7mls calmag
1/8 tsp Epsom salt

this mix is a little light on sulfur and heavy on phosphorus

so if you ph adjust with sulfuric acid (battery acid from the auto parts store) youll be better off

phosphoric acid will add more phosphorus

take a 1 gallon jug
fill it half way with water
add the pint of battery acid
then top off until full with water

then itll be about the same strength as the store bought ph down

I've been using GH ph down. It is phosphoric acid. I would prefer keep using the GH ph down,as I have a big bottle of it.

The only nute I have is grow big. Should I go with GH nutes instead?

And by heavy leaching, You mean flush?

yes I mean flush

I think the fox farm is organic
im not familiar with the GH organic nutes and theyre may be others that are good that im not familiar with

the GH 3 part is fine] easy to mix directions are reasonably
the GH 1 part floragrow/flora nova is fine (very easy to mix) and the directions are good
bontinicare is fine
advance will work but the directions suck and theyre the most over priced of them all
technaflora is fine but again the directions suck

tell which you want to go with and I will give you the mixing directions proper

which ever brand you go with you will not need every bottle they offer so check with me before you buy so you don't buy the stuff you don't need

the store and the brand will sell you as many bottles as they can and over complicate the mixing instructions

ive never reviewed the GH gobox organic line

ive heard others say good things (but that means very little)

if you want to stay organic that might be an option, im willing to review it with your help
but I will need the % info from each product/bottle

if you can find the info Im willing to review it... or if you buy the gobox (small starter kit) and give the info I can tell you how I would mix it

Fungus gnat I think. But i swear they look way different b/f smashed...or I'm seeing other flying insects too.

Are root aphid flyers the same size as fungus gnats??

Here is what they look like today. Starting to look a little thirsty. Been 5-6 days since watering, I did a EWC tea.

Notice the bottom shoots throwing out some three leafs.

My sticky traps seem to only catch gnats as far as I can tell.

Going to give them plain water tomorrow 6.3 ish PH. Should I get nutty with a couple gals of water and really flush the shit out of em?
Add some epsom salt still?

hello brother

those look good

no need to flush

what have you been giving them since the original pics?
just water and the mentioned tea?

I haven't watered at all since the first set of pictures.

Soil is still a little damp towards the root ball. I just feel like the new growth looks weak and wrinkley. The lights don't really put off heat toward the plants.

I would mix your nutes the way I recommended and give them some food on the next watering

there showing progressive magnesium def

spray them with 1/2 tsp per gallon Epsom salt and the puckering will be gone almost over night

I just went back over your thread

I just double checked the formula I gave you for the fox farm nutes

it should be ok until you can find another brand
