Got my Lumewing and 125W 2700k CFL in there now. installed the T&D T-100x inline fan as well and it's workin like a champ! I might even set it to the lower speed. Temps at the plants sitting at 79. Problem solved. Was 86-87 with everything on before! Yikes!

Got a clone that I'm turning into a mother so as soon as this is done i should have some clones ready for the closet Gonna use the LED on the momma from now on I think. We'll see.

what were the temps with just the ufo before you added the cfl? and did you have any ventilation before?

led companys claim that having the grow room at 85 degrees with led's is ideal (they go as far as to blame small yields directly on this when all other climate conditions are met, they say its when the plant does most photosynthesis or something.) i was going to start my own led grow and planned to have a cfl as a heater to get my temps up there. u may want to let the temps set in there (87 is probably too hot though) and see if you have any scortched or drying signs and if you dont, they could be happier at that temp. if you dont wanna risk it i will let you know how it goes for me if i can dial it in

Old exhaust with just the ufo: 80. Old exhaust with ufo and 4 26w cfl's: 87 lol. I was using a bathroom fan that was horribly inefficient, just caused turbulent air and sounded like a jet engine.

New exhaust with just the ufo: 78. New exhaust with ufo, 125W CFL and 4 26w cfl's: 83-84(she's very happy in this temp range) I was worried about stagnant moisture in the air with the old exhaust as well. high temp high humidity. The tips crisped a little when it was at 88.

I think just the LED can't be very productive because there really is virtually NO heat put off by this thing. I think the CFL's make it more natural. idk lol

lol thats a nice way to put it, but i do think the heat really does help, your temps sound right on! what is the dimensions of your space? keep on doing your thing and let us know the yield! i think i am going to do a scrog with my leds whne i get em, for these i think it will have most yield, i figure it at least makes up for the lack of penetration somewhat.

sorry i see your demensions, you got about double the space as i do, (im gunna cram 2 lighthouse hydro ufo's into the space), my celing is 32 inches so i think i might be able to get away with no cfl and keep temps in the 80's, ill have to manually vent, about 3 times a day. ill try to post a setup pic in a couple week when its all done!

Yea I can say the penetration isn't all that great unless you had a small plant and had it close. This is pushing me to train my plants better next time. I'm only using half the space currently but once i get my clone operation up i'll be filling the whole closet. Idk how that manual vent is going to work honestly. The moisture builds up so fast even when there's no heat. should be fine till about 4 weeks or older i think. for just 2 led's, PC fans should be perfect. with the CFL's though idk

5% clear, 90% cloudy, 5% amber as of yesterday. 2 week flush has begun.

what are people's thoughts on hanging the entire plant or hanging just two halves of it??

yea she did swell pretty great. I'm excited.

She's been off the sauce now for a week though and has only started to droop and show a few signs of nutrient deficiency. I thought it'd be a little faster. Oh well.

Any yield guesstimations?

drying well. humidity sitting between 60 and 70 in the closet. Have one circulator fan blowing below the buds and then the exhaust still on. Hopefully This doesn't dry it out too bad.

I'm guessing 1.5 oz or so. They've shrunk a little but are still rock hard buds. We shall see. Should be nearing bottling point over this weekend into next week.

I sure hope so. They really shrink a lot after you cut them huh? Oh well. I can see the crystals shining like crazy in most lights and the smell is wonderful. When I open the closet it smells like watermelon rind but then when handled the buds smell sweet and skunky. I'm pretty excited about this. no matter the yield. cloning operation is already in motion for some perpetual harvesting to come. Will see you guys in a few days with bud pics and yield!

How much can you generally yield off a clone that was put into 12/12 after it's roots were established. I want to make a sort of sog supercrop but I want to keep the plant low and even with the lights close.

3g short of 2 o's when I jarred them up. Wow look at those crystals!

3 largest nugs weighed 6.2, 5.2 and 5.1. I'm happy with that but next time I want less buds, more fat!
