Oil smell after first start up in grow tent

Okay today I put my grow tent together installed my inline Hurricane fan and 600 watt SG ballast xtrasun 64. Okay I have it all put together everything is installed. I turn it on and a few hours later it smells like an oil smell will that go away. Has anyone never had the same problem after first setup is this common

It should go away after you've run it for a few days. Everything has a break in period, give it a week and if you still smell it (strong) contact the manufacturer and ask if it's normal for that model.

A any rate, oil smell is better than weed smell if you have company over ;)

Normal prob been sealed and now the Mylar can breathe smells new enjoy it
