Well from the little that is on the picture, it seems like your light is probably to high. I would move the light down to about 18" away from the tops. Personally I prefer to veg with MH, but that is a different discussion :) I say u go with a closer light source, and you will see that internodal growth tighten up. If you are worried about temps.. try an air cooled hood and or a fan pointed up into the hood from the ground cooling and dispelling the heat from the bulb. at least they look healthy. You could always train them at this point to mitigate the stretching, move the light down and have compact growth starting with the new shoots off of the trained main stem. Good luck ;)

Oh and as an example... here is my veg setup (closet set up 400watt mh/hps digi ballast) See how close my light is.... and the other pic is to show the spacing between the nodes. A week ago these plants were under t12 flouros.IMG_0094.jpgIMG_0108.jpg

If they're already budding autos, so they're like 3 weeks old? Small for 3 weeks, something might be wrong with soil.

Well i lowered my lights and have been foliar feeding with a grow formula and my lraves seemed to have darkened up and the problem has stopped... Hopefully its not too late the tallest one grew 2 inches in one day!!!
