And ruin your wall? Actually I think it will be prone to tearing, especially if you have decent ventilation. I've found double sticky Velcro to work best for getting is up nice and smooth.

i thought the same thing when i put mine up, was worried it might cause hot spots like tin foil would, ended up using good ol duct tape, also ive seen staple guns used on alot of instructional videos.

yer i was gonna say a staple gun, you can pick them up reasonably cheap and there a lot easier to use than tacks, i never really rated duct tape. i used it to cover joins and after a while it loses its stickiness and comes off

I used a staple gun. If you are worried about it ripping, just put a peace of duct tape over where ever your going to staple or tack.

I used a staplegun as stated above and it has worked for me so far no problems. Good luck
