ok to start auto seeds in small peat cups?

Hey guys,

First time with autos and I heard its not a good idea to transplant... however, I don't like the germination rates of direct sowing, especially when the seed shell fails to completely come off due to low moisture... will starting in peat cups and then putting into final pot once they sprout be bad for my babies or should they be fine?

Seeds should be delivered this week and I'm gonna keep a grow journal from start to finish....bubblelicious auto from Nirvana

auto seed is simple man

u are doing soil



make up the bag/pot ....go get a jiffy spourt plug ....get it all watered up and ready ....put the seed in it ....put it in the middle of the bag/pot water i in 3 days with cup water 4th day u will see spourt 8 day u can call it veggie stage

when i say make the bag up i mean the final pot it will be in the biggest size u want to work with ....then just add the plug with the seed to the middle of ...........i promise u will like the results i tried it the spourt was 3 inchs tall .......when i did just using a jiffy plug in greenhouse it was only a 1 inch

jiffy plug water it it puffs up ...wait 45 mins ...use warm clean water(80/84ish ) then u squeeze the plug 3 times and push out some of the water then make the hole about 1/2 inch drop the seed with the round part to the bottompoint part to sky cover with the dirt .........that is all u need to do put it in the area let it start give it low light for the first bit then when the 1/2nd set of elaves show give it normal light

Hey thanks for your response man...that's how I usually start my seeds for my veggie garden and that's how I want to do my autos bc I get perfect germination... I'll give it a go just how u said here and record results in my grow journal
