Oklahoma lawmaker, found with boy in motel, charged with prostitution

"Shortey has been married to his "high school sweetheart" since 2002. He studied at Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City. He has been in office since 2010 and was endorsed by Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio for his anti-immigrant stance, and by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) for his "conservative principles". In 2012 he proposed a bill outlawing the use of aborted fetuses in food. Beth and Dog the Bounty Hunter hosted a rally for Shortey’s election in 2014. During the 2016 Republican presidential primary Shortey endorsed Donald Trump and served as the chair of his Oklahoma campaign.

In February 2017 Shortey came under criticism for introducing a bill in the Oklahoma Senate to amend State Questions 780 and 781, just two months after they were passed. His argument is that the referendum was poorly understood by the electorate, but is viewed as being detached or putting partisan politics over the vocal will of the people by many. SQ 780 and 781 lowered the penalties for nonviolent drug possession from a felony to misdemeanor and was seen by many progressive groups as a positive step in ending the War on Drugs.

Shortey is currently facing charges of soliciting a male minor for prostitution, prostitution within 1,000 feet (300 m) of a church, and transporting someone for prostitution after being caught with a 17-year-old boy in a Moore, Oklahoma, motel room. The Oklahoma Senate responded to the situation by unanimously voting to remove a variety of Shortey's privileges, including his parking space, office, and positions on committees. He retains the position of Senator, the ability to vote, and his pay."

This paragraph made me happy and sad at the same time. It is a wonderful paragraph but it left me wondering... where does Honey Boo Boo fit in?

"We all know homosexuality is an abomination and a sin and those faggots shouldn't be allowed adopt children (who don't care if they've two Dads or two Moms, they just need someone to love them) or get married"

*Hangs up phone*

"Now I'm gonna suck your dick and then you're gonna fuck me, boy."

I am pretty sure I did not join any pile on that involved you. You may have taken it the wrong way. Or, I may have accidentally been a dick. My humor can be a little oblique.
I got a gal in Kalamazoo.
I did not bring him over, dude. And I am not buying him a drink or letting him take your turn bowling.

I had minor contact with a user by that name at GC. I am not even sure this is the guy. He certainly has not responded to me here. I suspect troll-play. I know somebody who trolls this way.
Any questions?

Hey, you decided to join the mockfest. Up to you but I detest peer pressure. You douchebags are all so courageous when you're not alone. I did not provoke you in any way, so live on ignore.
I still don't see them as mocking. By the time of your quoted posts you had blown me off several times and I openly thought you were somebody else.

Hey, I did not make you post a phone number if that is what you're mad about.

Well, I do. As for a phone number, you can't make me do anything. You made your choices.
