All right kiddies I am 53, laid of smoking for 35 years while I did "stuff" Now that I am retired, and don't HAVE to do "stuff" I can smoke again!!
I am buying from a friend and am growing as well. Now can I get some love? As in the form of answers to the following......

What is with "vaporizors"?

Isn't the amount of herb required to do a blunt like a whole 1/4 or so?

Can you "grind" buds in order to roll a plain old joint?:joint:

Don't tell anyone but this pot today is pretty friggin strong, and it has a habit of replacing my Viagara:blsmoke:

Thank you for your assistance.

Vaporizers heat the bud up to a certain temperature at which the THC breaks down but the rest of the plant matter does not, meaning you get a very thin skoke- a vapor, and can barely feel your hits- meaning no cough, no tar, no resin. Very clean and arguably very effective. I find that there is nothing quite like smoking it in a bowl or my ultimate favorite the blunt. I have tried many vapos expensive and cheap and never felt the urge to buy one, dont think i would use it.

Blunts do not take a whole quarter, that is a very common and unfortunate misconception. If you are buying the pre-packaged blunt wraps- you can split them in half horizontally and use them to roll 2 blunts a piece, just as you would roll a joint. Skinny blunts in my opinion are still better than joints, better taste, smoother, and more of a high i feel. I very often smoke personal blunts- just little one gram blunts. Get me high as hell.

But recently I have purchased as glass blunt, i will attach picture so you know what i am talking about- but now i never need to buy wraps or cigars- just pull the hammer back on my glass blunt and fill it till desired. Its like a syringe-ish pipe that can pack just one hit- or more than you could possibly count.

As for the grinders.... I love those too!

Yes you can use a grinder to roll your joints, its my favorite tool in my whole stoner aresenol for its ability to grind all my ganja. If you get one with a kief chamber- and put a quarter in the chamber and bang it on the hard ground and back in forth in your hands- you will collect a shit ton of pollen (kief) and get high as hell sprinkling it on bowls or making hash- it will pay for your grinder overtime.

Ground weed tends not to run or burn unevenly when smoked in joints/blunts as compared to hand broken ganja. I also find that pot never smells better then when you just sliced through it with your grinder, smells so fresh and so dank... making my mouth water thinking about it.

A contractor has his ruler and hammer, I have my grinder and wrap

First pic is my kief grinder, and my 2 glass blunts
Second pic is one of my glass blunts with the hammer pulled back- and some herb in it.

Glass Blunts? Is that just like a glass pipe, or do you just stuff weed down into it?

Ha,another geezer

Its not that the pot is stronger its just that you took so much time off from smoking it.

our pot IS stronger.. 35 years ago, good weed was about 3-5% thc.. these days, dank bud can have over 20%..

the shwag we get from across the border, "dirt weed" $25 an ounce, is comparable to what they smoked in the '60s and '70s...

So Jamaican, Panama Red/Gold, Oxacan, Thai stix, and the many Columbian strains would all be schwag today? Oops, forgot that buttery tasting Acapulco stuff. Hard to imagine.
Granted, today's exotics are powerful, but schwag?

Poppy cock i say,pure rubbish.

I was not only alive in the 60's & 70's but i was smoking like a chimney as well,i lived through all the strains that so many young people speculate about & quote thc numbers that were never truly recorded to start with.

Yes,there was dirt weed full of seeds & stems but there was also weed that would knock you on your ass, weed that was every bit as strong as Northern Lights or any other designer weed, in some cases the oroginal strains gave very close to a psycidelic effect that ive not felt in 30 years.

Ive smoked Thai Sticks that had so much red & yello veins in them that they looked electric, ive smoked Panama Red that was so skunky it made my clothes reek, ive smoked Columbian Gold with buds the size of golf balls that were hard as rocks with a smooth flavor that was as good as any of todays weed, ive also smoked those same strains where they were dirt weed with mostly fan leaves, seeds & huge stems with tiny ass seedy little buds. There was good weed around in the 60's & 70's as well as shit weed, same as today.

Kenobi is right on with everything except............in my humble opinion "blunts" are a waste of good weed. i guess if you're burning some mexican clump its fine, but if you're smoking your favorite strain why ruin the taste by wrapping it in a huge piece of tobacco leaf ????? kinda like puttin A1 on a good filet. but thats me and i k now alot of people who love it.

what was that first joint like after a break of 35 years?

you must have tripped like you'd dropped a handful of caps.
i often stop puffing for a while purely to get that 'first high in a long time' kick

better than acid for visuals. especially if the break has been for a couple of years.
but 35 years? whhoaaaa must have been a helluva party

ps

thc is only 1 of 400 chemicals that effect you. (allegedly) (b4 i get blitzed)
by focussing on thc, you have to be losing the strength of the others.

The first hit after that long a time was like seeing an old friend. I havent had a drink (alcohol) in 22 years so with the exception of a few Dentist appointments and minor surgery, I hadn't been " high" in forever.
I smoke a bit every night to help me sleep, and only 3 times in the last 6 months that I have ben smoking did I do so with others for the effect of getting wacked.
I do however plan on a nice summer day of getting conmpletly zonked and listening to Allmans Brothers Live at the Fillmore very very loud. And at some point I will get my sweetie pie to wear some musk oil when we screw just to help me remember a certain...........better not go there.

weed today is great but nothing like a good sativa thats ripened on the vine for 9 months...........everyone wants the 8 week hybrid..... there's a completely different world out there if you care to investigate.
