One Plant in an Old Hot-Water Tank; Possible?

So my hot water tank craped out today and I had to replace it, to the tune of $400 no less and it got me to thinking: Is it possible to grow one plant under cfls inside of an old hot-water tank. There would be plenty of venting through the old copper hose lines, though it would be possible to enlarge the holes as I dont think that 1/2" would quite cut it. I havent gotten inside of the thing yet but I intend to and see if its possible or not. Just wanted to get some feedback from some of you guys on your ideas or thoughts about this.

I should mention that this tank holds about 38 gallons/ 175 litres and stands at about 4'6"-5' tall and about2'6'-3' round.

you could completely surround the plant w/light - that is for sure. serotonin brings up a good point - how would you get easy access to the plant?

I was thinking of cutting a door like you say. I am concerned with the stealth aspect though so what I might do is split the tank in half down the seems and then put hinges on one side and eight or ten of those magnetic door clasps on the other so that there is no sign of an actual door per se
