Opinions/experience on pruning plants.

Hi I am looking for opnions and experiences on pruning. I have been removing lower branches of my plants as I wanted to see if this would give more goodness/yeild to the top buds when I flower them. Whats people's experience with this? I have also popped and bent the tops of some of them and they seem to have responded well. Think I am going to switch them over to 12/12 early next week.

I have taken the bottom quarter off some of the plants in the picture above but thinking maybe I should of let them grow a bit more once flowering before cutting them.

Owh dear that's what I thought....after I did it. Hopefully the victims of my stupidity will be OK.

Thanks I have just had a look at lollipoping and I am hoping it should work out ok I am gonna veg them another week to recover. Then switch and see.

With little plants, I would "top" them 2-3 times, then lollipop about 3-4 weeks after flower. Theyre small and won't need much.

If lower leaves are touching the dirt or get in the way during watering I pinch them off. Don't go too crazy with defoliation you will get diminishing returns (yield).
