Opinions on my grow room plz?

Okay, it hasnt been set up yet, so theres room for adjustment. Heres what I had in mind...

Haven't officially measured yet but I believe the room I am going to be growing in is roughly 8 ft. wide by 24-28 ft. long

I want to hook up
10 - 600 watt HPS hortilux with Radiant hoods with 6 inch cooling hole and ballasts
2 at a time like so:
_______

----------

I will use ducting connections to the cooling holes in each hood and hook them to a central duct that will be cooled by an 8 inch inline fan that will exhaust the air through a carbon filter and out a hole in the back of the house, I will bury the ducting in a trench leading it 18 feet down a hill behind my house so as to avert smells and people getting nosy. I have no neighbors behind me and its a heavily wooded area.

I will be drawing air in through a 4-6" inline fan with the ducting tube in my garage to be filtered with a hepa cone filter and quieted through an insulated box

I am lining the growroom walls with panda paper gloss white (high reflectivity)
All of this is to be confined in the basement of my 3 story house with a lockable door that leads down there... almost like a dungeon.

Okay, build aside I am a seasoned grower and have a few questions to get more opinions....

Considering I have 6000 watts HPS to grow with, how many plants would you think I can pack in there without overusing my watt capacity? Also, should I grow them 2 foot and then flower or go for 24 x 1 foot flower of many plants to try and achieve the most yield? I will probably be growing a stout dominantly indica strain and am hoping to retrieve 5-6 pounds... is this realistic? No choice on ferts or nutes or anything yet, just trying to see if I have a good idea of what im going for. Other option is to grow 10-12 decently large plants. Which would you think might yield more?

My ceiling is your basic... 8, maybe 10 foot high ceiling.

All constructive criticism, flaming, suggestions and comments are welcomed. Please chip in with your two cents!! I am new here as I havent found a place to call home after Overgrow.com got shut down... that was my main source of info. Hopefully I can get some good intel so I can know whether or not to proceed with operation budblast. :)

I can't see 1 8" fan being enough for 10 x 600w lights.

I'd stick 9 plants under each light.
Why not just grow them as big as you can, if you have the height for it?
Let's say you have 9 plants under each light and get at minimum of 2 ounces from each. That's 180 ounces. I have no idea what that is in pounds.
I think lots of smaller plants would yield more than 12 big ones.

Your lookin at 15lb.at the rate your goin by.But Bio has a point. One little fan isn`t goin to cool all of the lights. It`ll take a Big fan to keep your room cool.Anyhow ,so far so good.Good luck on your grow.Stay Happy,Healthy, and High!! P.S. I`ll be around to help where I can.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing that the cooling might be inefficient but I thought because it was a basement it might tend to stay cooler.... I'll go back and reassess inline fans, thanks for the tip! :)

Yeah I was thinking over time the quickness of a SOG will be more productive than vegging plants for 2 months etc etc.... but I guess it all depends.

9 plants under one light?? under a SOG or....?? How many watts per plant am I going to want? Am I over or under lighting the room if I wanted say.... 40 plants 3' tall when full flowered??

BTW +rep point thingies to both of you lol... appreciate the help, my thread has been up for like 2 days with no responses. :(

seal the room, no fresh air,add supplemental c02, install a ductless a/c unit to control temps, get a dual head one, search ebay for mini split or ductless a/c add a couple carbon filters to scrub air in room when odors start.
control the enviroment, a dehumidifier later on in flowering is good also. water from a/c is pure and can be used.
