Plants look good, but what do you have bordering the walls? Almost looks like tinfoil which I heard from Jorge Cervantes Grow DVD is not recommended at all. If you could get a better zoom in on the plant too, that would be awesome.

its actually not mylar or tinfoil, its better. where I purchased it at, the person recommended this over mylar so I just went w/ that.

I have a cat, and he will stop by here in the morning. so, has anyone grown g-13 or what?? Im tryin to get some specifc growing tips for the strain

Yes, they did seem to stretch a bit.

Its hard working w/ a 1k hps and trying to limit stretching ya know. I actually started the bending/low stress training a couple of days ago.

It seriously makes the bottom growth head straight up, you cant really tell in these picks but 9 of 12 have a pretty descent curve to the main stalk, Im hopin for the best.

thanks to all who respond, without this site these wouldnt be shit right now.

thats so funny. i had seedlings at this grls house once and her kittens would attack them. so i put them on the window sill. the kitties would fly from the high point they could climb to over to the sill and try to bat them down on their way to the ground. i caught a kitten and it almost fell 2 stories DIVING to get that plant. wtf.

The dog look great but the plants arent looking so great. You definately have a light issue either not enough or to far away as they are thin and stretched meaning they are not getting enough.Get more lights and make sure a fan is lightly blowing to thicken the stalks fibers...

yeah I actually do have a fan on them constantly, the light is a 1000w hps so I dont think that too little light is an issue and that would be g-13, a plant that is known to stretch alot..........

one more thing, I do have an issue w/ the light though, if its too close it burns them and if its too far they stretch, I think that this a major disadvantage for the 1k watt lights, too hot!

that's funny. my cats have NEVER bothered my plants. i hear a lot about them liking it. they pretty much could care less. they will come into my room, sniff around a little, rub against my leg, meow and leave. it's the hairs they leave behind that suck. big-ol-cat hair dancing on the tip of my cola.

easy now! your girls look a little stringy... what strain are they?

iv tried bending and had great results, i opened the plant rite up and the light flooded my girls with glorious hps....good results. Iv also been helping a friend and we'v been experimenting... nip off the bottom 15cm of growth (from soil level up) ang snip the top off. the plants go mad and bush straight out, you can see results in a very short time.
mix it up a bit and try different things with each plant to see wich works best

i dont really rate 1k hps's unless on a big grow. 600w are my weapon of choice, you get great results.

your lamp should be about 12" off the top of your plants, measure it with a piece of string hangging off your lamp, this should stop the stretching but like you say its hard stopping a 1k lamp burning your girls. get an osalating fan on the tops of the plants!!
