Growing poppies for opium is soo easy. Throw the seeds in some moist soil. (best in fall - then early spring) Mix well and just throw the soil around in your bed. Keep moist (which often comes naturally this time of year). Next summer you'll see those blue/greyish leaves showing a big poppy is growing. Make about a foot circle for each plant to get nice big flowers. Harvest the buds when ripe. The top opens up when peak potency. (google that).
You can make opium tea or pure opium by making a couple of 1mm deep razor cuts. Leave the white latex to dry until dark - that's your opium right there.

nah, never had enough reason to join there.... too many hardcore opiate heads for my liking. I dont know where you're at exactly, but its recommended from what i understand, to start them in fall, grow through winter, and harvest in spring.

They probably won't be ready before late spring or summer, but planting them now will give them a big edge compared to plants started in spring. They just become twice as big.

When I was in my teens and 20's I used to see quite a bit of black tar opium here in the States. Most of the consumers seemed to be older Black men,but I don't know why? The product could run from shit to shinola depending on where it came from.

We used to smoke it in glass pipes like crackheads use now. You wanted vape it ,not hit with a direct flame. If it's good all it takes it one good hit.

BTW,it's very addictive. It got my young ass one summer when I copped a couple of O's of it during a big pot drought. I really wouldn't advise using it if you've got an addictive sort of personality. The withdrawal is a bitch.

What you describing sounds more like Black Tar Heroin. Opium is traditionally dark, gooey, and waxy, so calling it 'black tar' is sort of an erroneous aesthetic.

you are going to have to grow a whole lot of plants to get to the point where you cop any sort of jones. BTW, I've found that almost any seeds you can get in the spice rack will work just fine.
