I can explain any questions anyone might have about this proposal. It would regulate the commercial aspect of marijuana much like we do alcohol here in Oregon. No regulation for non-commercial personal use and also non-regulated hemp production which is a very cool thing. Oregon already has hemp law approved by our representatives, only problem is they added language to the law to have everything wait until the federal government changed their stance. It seems like there is a lot of passion from everyone here about their own way it should go. Please keep positive for that is key to keeping the movement strong. Please support this petition. It might not be the best setup but it's way better then it being illegal. The signature drive only needs 100,000 and we already have 33,000 and a year to go. There are also two other petitions presented by the people. If you don't like the setup of this one. You might try gathering signatures for the other campaigns.

I agree.....I am all for voting to get it completely legal in the State of Oregon. I think stoners and medical patients alike deserve to make their own choices. Even a law that only gets it part of the way, that law is still better than what exists today. I would love to know that my pot smoking friends will be able to partake if they want to, without fear of prosecution.

Again, I am much more for the weed like wine stance, but anything getting us closer is good in my mind.

I just am hoping that we do not give the exclusive rights to sell marijuana to the pre-existing business of liquor. I do not want marijuana being associated with liquor. Another reason I am against liquor stores selling it is this.......We need to create jobs, and if you let new businesses spring up, that means more new employees, more money being spread around, more commercial properties being leased, more commercial property owners making money, etc, etc.

Mainly I want to see as many good paying jobs spring up within this industry as humanly possible!

Support making marijuana legal in the state of Oregon. The Oregon Cannabis Tax Act is collecting signatures to allow Oregon to vote on this issue in 2012. Please, if you know anyone that you are comfortable with asking to sign this please do it.

If you want to get more involved, there is a 10 signature sheet that can be printed off but then you must follow the basic "petitioner" laws in oregon. If you have any question about becoming a petitioner you can ask me, it is very easy.

Also if your friends or relatives are not registered to vote you can print this and then they have no excuse now haha
Note: This is a link to the oregon sectary of state website from oregonvotes.org.

P.s. Anyone in the world can support this as well by donating money.
