cali-o is a low to mid yielder. We gre cali-o lavender and bubba kush. same light, nutes, etc.

bubba 10-18oz per plant
cali-o 4-6 oz pp
lav 3-4 oz pp

dont get me wrong. its a good strain, but would you rather have a 1/4 of cali-o or an oz of bubba? me, I will take both!!! haha

A great plant to grow is Big Bud, all the power and pretty of calio with a high yield.

Thanks for the rep+ !!!

Even tho the yield is low on lavender, you notice its still in the garden. :bigjoint:

And we fought over that first.

Take a look at this breed. We still trying to pick a name. It is Skunk/Haze Mom and a Grandaddypurp/PineAppleXpres Dad. 4 different strains blended together over a few generations.

Seeds were raised, sexed, then mothers produced. These were the clones, taken from them.

that is pretty, quite a purple streak on that
i was thinking about the lavender for anxiety issues, find it a 'calming' smoke?

If you go with a big pot, give it plentyof time to veg and feed it the max nutes possible, you can get a good yield. I am shying away because there are so many awesome high high yield, and I didnt stutter. Ogre, Big Bud, GranDaddyPurp variatals, PurplePower, etc.

For calming, anxiety issues I recommend any sativa or high sativa mixed varietal. If it has skinnier leaves, more happy uplifting anf calming. If by calming, you mean put me in a wheelchair for 5 hours, you want an indica.

For high yield, non paranoid stone, go Cheese or Power Plant.

how the fuck did u pull 10-18 oz off bubba inside?????????? and orange bud aka orange crush is a pretty dank old school indica strain with orgins in cali. like said nice thick buds, citrus aroma, covered in orange hairs and thc, nice body stone, great orange taste. but its not the dankest shit on the market. for example bubba kush is like 60 an 1/8 shit while oragne crush is like 50 1/8 type shit

They were grown outdoors, but only to save on electricty. Then brought inside for the last 6 weeks. For a good yield, I pick a high yield varietal and these are the factors

During veg, cut off every other leaf; this forces the side node on the opposite side to grow and shortens internodals
During first few weeks of flowering remove upper most shade leaves and medium leaves to allow canopy penetration (altho ppl agree never to remove a green leaf I find this spurs the plant to prduce more smaller leaves during flower which by end turn all crystally and add to the weight greatly)
Nute them up until you see the tips of shade leaves turn brown
I used beastie blooms and big bloom in large amounts during first 4 weeks of flowering.
I also fed them N during bloom. Testing soil revealed they had lots of P, but low on N. It did NOT inhibit flowering in the least.

I am always amazed at ppl who are shocked or dont believe you can get a pound off one indoor plant. I grow to 5 feet they are bushy 2-3 feet across with hundreds of tops. Yes I dont get a huge cola, instead a lot of smaller tops that dry to 7gram beasts or more. Yes, if you take a rooted clone and throw it in flower, u will get an oz or two. I veg for as long as needed to get 3 feet x 3 feet bush. Typical veg time is 3-6 weeks from rooted clones.

Yes I break a lot of rules people swear by. But we see higher yields.

How funny. This was a pre 98 bubba and while perfect and good smoke people raved over the lavender most. It never turned purple just a very nice smooth smoke.

never grown Tangerin Haze. Online states 400gram yield. Power Plant, Ogre are 750gram or more. Bubba is listed around 500gr but I have found it can be grown big if properly trained and pruned.

I dont know what they mean by 400grams. Indoor? outdoor? to a certain height??? But if you compare the numbers, TH should yield about half of what PP would. Again, let it veg, get lots of nodes, nute them up and be patient. IMO Crystal leaf is far better than flower as it holds more trichomes and gives you more THC per space than a flower ever would.
