Orca Film

Is there any substantial benefit to having a grow tent lined with Orca film as opposed to Mylar? I've read the articles and seen the charts, but was wondering if anyone had firsthand experience with how it affects a grow.

I am currently using the grow film within my small grow space.

The light that gets reflected off of it is diffused. The diffusion helps get light deeper into the plant's center.

The grow film itself is tightly woven.

Thanks! I'm setting up a new grow and was browsing tents. Happened to come across the Secret Jardin Orca and it peaked my interest. Was wondering how it would work with my LED. Have you noticed any positive changes compared to previous, non-Orca grows?

Yes, as I have stated already. After bouncing off of the grow film there is more light distribution into the center of the plant.

The plant in my current grow has already overgrown my small grow space. I have tie secondary branches to main stalk.

I just build a cab using orca film. If you pull the stuff tight, it has practically no wrinkles which i think helps the reflective properties.

The thing is, it's not light proof like mylar or panda film so my cabinet glows at night time. I don't know if that might be a factor for you.

Theres a thread here discussing spread on cmh fixtures. The tester was very impressed with the Orca sheeting.
