Ya that's me, fuck I was high for at least 4-5 hrs after hitting that hash. I had dabbed all day and that stuff by far was the best hash I've ever smoked.
I love that Ice wax...every time I have a few extra bucks,I run up to Hopland's CCA dispensary and grab what I can of his stuff.

Ok, so I am a bit behind Hovering on my first 5, now I am on my 2nd 5.

I was on the hunt for as closest to the Oregon Diesel pheno I could find. The first 5 only showed me very leggy sativas and one that looked about 50/50. I kept the 50/50 and put her in the green house. She is about 2 weeks ahead of everything in there (if it was a bit older I think she would have flipped earlier). From what I have seen the sativa side of this seems a bit touchy (I have some similar leaf curl as Hovering although not as much yet)

So, I went for the next 5 seeds in search of that OD. I ended up finding a matching pair of M/F that were very short & the node spacing on both is excelent. This is just what I was in search of. So at this point the male is stickiong around in the green house and I will be taking cuts off the female and doing lighting experiments to see where we go.

I am located in the Coast Range Mts. in Oregon, so the earlier I can get a crop off in the green house the better. Now my hope is to get this guy crossed into some of my favorite genetics and see if I can get something that works for my med needs and works in my location.

Oregon Blues Male (Oregon Diesel Dominant) trimmed up and ready to work next to my Jilly Bean Scrog

I think the early finish is meant to be outdoor, while still being a 9 wk ( or more I assume with the Jamaican sativa in there)

Yes, the Jamaican Sativa influence would absolutely indicate that. I think I am on the leading edge of everyone with flowering her so there is not much info out... I need to check with Sub.

I am pretty familiar with the background.... just from asking Sub and watching the Oregon Diesel Vid that sub made.

The Oregon Diesel is a 9 week indoor strain, it starts flowering at 16hrs of light so in northern latitudes it will flower sooner outdoors. Like at the Breeder's (I think his nick here is "Breeder" lol) location in Oregon it starts flowering mid July and finishes by the first part of August.

I think the most important part of this strain is the early onset of flowers outdoor although the beauty is there too. That's the reason I was so pumped to get this. I just went straight for the Oregon Diesel dominant ones. That was my goal.

I am starting to see that blue resin hue you were talking about Hovering. I am about 3 weeks into flower in the green house.

Hiya'll
yea I know, I'm runing a little behind on this here journal. It was just to nicea summer to spend inside but we're entering our fall season and soon wintercomith and I spend more time indoors than out.

I also ran into some trouble with the plants so they are about a couple weeksbehind in development.Spider Mites and Thrips add sh*ty bottled nutes and youget a headache.

I have been experimenting with some tea's and the plants have finaly bouncedback and are now on there way.
I have managed to sex 4 of the 10 plants and have 2 boys and 2 girls so far andwe'll just have to wait and see what else transpires.

The 2 boys looked pretty beefy with large leaves and short, stocky features.1 ofthe ladies is very tall and sugests she has more Jamacin in her but yet if youlook at her branch's they are staying close to the main frame much like andIndica.

I have 1 picture of each plant for today. There's a nice mix of genetics sowe'll just have to watch and see how this one plays out.
I repoted the 2 gals to 3 galon pots were I'll veg them out for a bit longerbut chances are the tall gal will go in 1st so she doesn't get to tall.Theother Gal is more Oregon like so I'll veg her a little longer still.

Hi Gang

I am happy to report 7 females from 10 seeds. All the men have been culled.
Plants were re-potted to 3 gal pots and left to veg for 2 more weeks
3 of the gals (the tallest ones) were placed into bloom 2 weeks ago while the remaining 4 went to the bloom room as of yesterday.
I have photo's of the 3 gals that have been flowering for the past 2 weeks. The other 4 I will shoot in 2 weeks once the flowers start to show.

As for nutrients I am currently working with Tea's.
here's the recipe for the bloom.
I mix it at 1 gal for 2 days then add 1 gal of R.O. water and water them till I have a bit of run off

Flowering tea
1 tbsp Molasses
20 drops CaMg+
1tbsp dry all purpose 5-5-5 fert.
1 tbsp Kelp Meal
1 tsp high "N" bird/bat guano
1 tsp High "P" bird/bat guano
1 tsp Alaska Fish fert
1/4 cup liquid Big Bloom

Bubble for 24 hours

1 cup earthworm castings
1/2 cup Sheep manure

Bubble for 24 hours

Thats about it for now

My Blackberry pheno started flower and finished early. I put it out in the GH in late July (not expecting anything) and continued light depo on the cheese (started July 27th).

Much to my surprise the OB stayed right there with it. Finishing about 2-3 weeks before everything else.

I have a feeling that if I put it out a little earlier it would have flipped sooner.

I am running 2- Oregon D phenos indoor (one is the blackberry pheno I have) going to do some light testing in my 4x4 tent here soon. just want to get that done before January-ish.

I will keep ya posted.

This 1st gal is 5ft tall. She is leaning towards the Jamacin scale but she is all ready displaying some purple coloring which I thing comes from the Oregon Diesel.it's definately not cool temp induced as my room temps range from 70 to 75 df day and night. She has this redish Pink lavender color making its pressence just in the past week.I hadn't even noticed it till I pulled her out for this up date.

She smells very fruity almost creamy but yet it also reminds me of Vanilla with a side order of Skunk and spice

Check out the early purple coloration in her
She is on her 4th week of bloom

This next gal is O.B. #2 also on her 4th week of bloomage
Her structure is Jamacin but her flowers seem to look a little more on the Indica side of the scale.
She too smells fruity, creamy vanila, skuny and hashy.

Here we have O.B. #3
Again looking she looks to be more jamacin mon and she smells identical to the last 2 gals.

Hey all

I'm baack with an update.

1st off I wonder if some one could answer a question for me.
I have been wondering about the water temp for the tea's.I am in my witer months and the water from the tap is coming out about 56 df and if I leave it out even for 24 or more hours it doesn't get any warmer than 58 df and that seems pretty cold to me for the beasties to thrive in.I piced up a very small aqaurium heater and the temp is preset to 76 df and was wondering if thats to warm for them.I wouldn't want to cook them.
Any thoughts or comments appreciated

Thanks
Ocan.

Ok,on with the up-date
I am now on week 6 for 3 of the Oregon Blues

I have mixed up a batch of the "Finishing Tea" and it goes some thing like this

Finishing Tea : to be used 2-3 weeks before harvest
1 cup earthworm castings
1/4 cup Big Bloom liquid
1 tsp kelp
1 tsp molasses
bubble for 24-48 hours

Ok so here we have O.B. #1
She's a lovely Lavender pheno .
She smells of Lavenders and Skunk. There's also this fruity under tone that sort of reminds me of Juicy fruit gum and yet she also has this Spicy scent that hits you like an after thought.
She's quit resinous too
Oregon Blues #1 @ 40 days (1 of 5).jpgOregon Blues #1 @ 40 days (2 of 5).jpgOregon Blues #1 @ 40 days (3 of 5).jpgOregon Blues #1 @ 40 days (4 of 5).jpgOregon Blues #1 @ 40 days (5 of 5).jpg

I think 70-72 would be ideal.I tried a heating mat for a cloning tray but it put the temp at 78 df and I think thats way to warm for the beasties to survive in not to mention waterin g the plants with water that warm I think the plants wouldn't like it either.

Ok so here is O. B. # 2
She's a green pheno and her flowers resemble more of the block head style of bud.I also believe she is frostier than #1 and #3 but you can descide for your selves.

This gal smells more fruity skunky and spicy to me.
She is also strarting to show me her fall colors as she's nearing the ripening fase.I'll be giving these 3 plants there finishing tea tomorrow and from there on it'll be plain water till harvest

Oregon Blues #2 @ 40 days (6 of 6).jpgOregon Blues #2 @ 40 days (5 of 6).jpgOregon Blues #2 @ 40 days (4 of 6).jpgOregon Blues #2 @ 40 days (3 of 6).jpgOregon Blues #2 @ 40 days (1 of 6).jpgOregon Blues #2 @ 40 days (2 of 6).jpg

Ok,here we hav pheno #3
She is another Lavender girl but with one exception. She is throwing out nanner's.To bad cause she is quite lovely to look at.
I spent some time with her after the photo shoot picing the nanners off with tweazers.I think I got the majority of them
(fingers crossed). I will continue to keep my eyes on all of them just in case.I'm hoping I can let them go for the remaining couple of weeks but if I continue to be pulling nanners off the I may be forsed to remove her early.
