As far as feeding, you might want to get a simple base nute, Fox Farm's Tiger Bloom, Botanicare ProBlend, Advanced Nutrients 2part... Whatever.


Growing with teas is cool and all, but you can really pump up on some steroids.



Not sure if you know... Autoflowers are usually kept at 20 hours lights on 4 hours lights off... They'll start flowering on their own.

thanks sir!!! i am using mineral water with a ph of 6.0( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spa_(mineral_water) ) my soil had a ph of 6.5 so do u still think its a ph prob?? because the AK and the WD dont have these curls is it possible that the GWS needs different ph in the water?? is it not possible that its the plants characteristics?? ok so i will use ur advice and try the cellmax bloom formula i have NPK 1,5 14 13 and see how she likes it!! should i stop using the teas if i use the bloom formula?? i also stunted my two white dwarf plants by giving them tea too early but they are picking up now so i know they are sensitive!! also i am using hot soil meaning i have quite alot of guano and worm castings in my compost!! i have my babies under 20/4 from sowing!!!! thanks for the help!!!

Are you letting the soil get almost completely dry before waterings?

The pH shouldn't be a problem with the numbers you listed.

When I vegged under HPS lights for 24 hours the curling happened to me... Also, young clones need to be far, far away from the light to prevent curling.

I switched to a 18/6 cycle and it went away, but I also switched up the feeding a bit, and they might have been stressed from something else, like too much light?


My guess is it's a micronutrient problem...



But, an interesting theory is they might like a full spectrum bulb, or the supplementation of a MH lamp.

My hypothesis is they will do better under a full spectrum. Reason; they are an autoflowering plant, which blooms early summer, finishing mid summer... So, they like daylight, a blue white spectrum...


I bet they'd do great under daylight CFLs...

Okay scientists, run some experiments.


Maybe put a CFL on one as supplemental light to see if there's a change in the leaf pattern.

Always be running experiments, otherwise how do you improve?

my bulb is an son agro bulb!! so my HPS has i think 30% more blue spectrum that usual hps bulbs!! but i could always supplement with a cfl just to experiment!! anyways yesterday when i took a look i noticed only very few leafs are curling now even in the pics u have to search to find the curling so even if i think its going away il add a cfl to experiment!!! the seedbank told me to go 20/4 throughout do you think i should change to 18/6??? also too much light howard?? i thought the more light the better is this not true?? i have my bulb like 20cm from the plants and i have had the light even closer because its cool tubed!!! do you think i should have it more far away?? i could try it i just thought the closer the more light and the more light the better! also il feed the bloom formula next time i water to build up the steroids hehe!! micronutrient problem?? wouldnt all plants experience the defficiency then?? they all are planted in the same soil!! also i read that i should expect a bloom of growth during flowering but i feel that my baby has slowed down in the fourth week whilst in the third it was shooting up like crazy should i not expect more volume growth of the plant as i progress?? im half way there on monday!!!!!!!! 4 more weeks for some dank o how much ive missed it.......

my country has bad laws il keep it perpetual but not more than 5 because its 10 years in prison if they think i do it for dealing and say think because they need not prove unfortunately so i dont want to risk that!! while use is prison up to a year but u get suspended sentence!! and the bastards havent given a number of plants they say its up to judge!! dimocratic dictatorship if u ask me!!! and the basil is 4 my gf cause she uses when cooking hehe!! thanks for stopping by!!!

i hear you man. being paranoid is a bitch. f**k the law but you gotta keep the gf happy, then she keep you happy.
mine is just personal use too. and hell i couldnt grow enough under a 400 watt to go commercial anyway. but yea they see 20 -30 seedlings cause they are not sexed yet and all they look at is a plant is a plant male or female.

no lol not even in my most psychotic dreams lol i took it all down to make modifications and as i had my appartnment upside down things and garbage everywhere plus the anxiety that i have to have my plants under the light and pic up the mess so my girl doesnt explode on me and vuala no time for progress update!!so im stealing 5 mins off work to tell you guys what i did!!! i made a lightproof design for my intake fans!! by supporting a board of wood placing it on cabinet floor and sealing then on top i placed another board (both boards had little legs to allow air movement bottom part 25cm legs top part 12,5 cm legs) but i left a 10cm gap at the back of my cabinet when placed on top of the first support so this way air enters the back travels to front moves up into second compartment goes to the end where the gap is and enters the growin space this way no light can travel all the distance and escape through the back opening !! the air does like a u movement before entering the growin space!!! tomorrow il change the entire ducting and exhaust so i can incorporate a thermostat so co2 release and uptake by plants is more efficient!! i might update when i get home but as my gf has been freaking at me for the amount of time i spend on my box i might do her the favor and not spend much time with it today!!! peace and love always!!!!!!!!!

I hear the GF situation, we have two kids, a dog, a cat, and 89 plants to manage.

I'm also concerned about the local laws but I live where it has been decriminalized and the Fedz are the only ones that can knock on my door. Even then it is not a federal crime because I do not have more than 99 plants.
