I used subcools supersoil and I am pretty happy with the results of my fist indoor grow. Done in small tent with 250 watt HPS.

Pheno 1: Short purple grape phenotype, seems to be a little ahead of plant number 2, definately more indica Purple Urkle Dom.

Pheno 2: Sativa Dominate taller phenotype, has more of a hashy skunky smell, buds are bigger but the shorter plant looks a little ahead.

Problem is my grow room is my dry room so they have to be harvested together. Do you think the second one is fully ripe? I certainly don't want to pull too early but I also dont want to too late because its already a heavy indica as is.

Thanks guys this is basically my first grow and I'm confident on drying and curing just not the exact best pull time. I will try to find a magnifying glass to check the trichs. O yeah the pistils are 50/50 red and white but a little more white on pheno 2.

I've grown a Querkle 5 or 6 times now. If you're willing to wait, those buds will likely turn completely purple in the next week or two.
However, your's look done to me. Color is not as important as taste to me, and your look to be in prime time for that.

If you choose to wait, I wouldn't worry about the heavy indica effect you spoke of. I've never really felt "tired" from my Querkles, even the late purples. They seem to provide a warm, calming effect. Not so much a knock out sedative feeling. Of course, that's just my own perception of its effects.

Either way, they look delicious. You did an excellent job. Nothing simpler than good soil and water.
It's one of my favorite strains!

Thanks guys! I think I will wait 3 days or so just to let them plump up. At least that way I can taste some that is almost dry before the world ends.

Have you grown any other TGA strains Shmarmpit? I'm thinking to do Vortex next, And I will possibly have a sealed room and 600W lights. I'm so excited.

I've only grown Pandora's Box, Plushberry, Jillybean, The Flav, and just started flowering Agent Orange for the first time. Honestly, every single plant I've grown of his has been delicious. The "weakest" of all of these has been the Jillybeans, which I found to be less potent and quite leafy. I might try popping a few more seeds though because everyone always praises that strain in particular, which had me confused. The best of the ones I've grown would have to be the Pandora' Box. They don't seem to yield a lot, but the high is borderline crazy-brained. I's a very upbeat high, has an amazing taste of sour-apple candy, and if you keep smoking on it all day you may well go insane. Hahah not so dramatic, but it does stand out in my mind as the most potent.

I don't think you could go wrong with Vortex, or any of his strains. Hope you get the setup you want!

Yeah I heard Jillybean is awesome as well but good to know. I'm looking for a my next strain to grow that is a good all day social strain that won't knock you out but still relax you. I know what you mean about the strains that feel like they give you pycosis, I just had that today in public and probably looked like a nut. I'm thinking to go with a reserva privada strain though, what do you guys think?

View attachment 2437129Eh, maybe even a week or more. The Querkle is slow compared to other TGA strains, likely due to the notoriously slow Purple Urkle genetics.
You should really try and wait for the purple buds if you don't need to rush it. That's how I usually judge the timeframe on mine. That purpling on the sugar leaves you have now will slowly bleed into the buds themselves. The hairs should all turn red and just kind of sit on the buds all curled up. It's quite a beautiful strain when let to ripen.

I'd post some of my pics if all my attachments weren't missing from this site. I'll see if I have them saved anywhere else.

Yeah I'm definitely waiting another week or so come to think of it. But Pheno 1 looks pretty ready on top at least. Thanks for the purpling tip man, try and post that photo again it's not working.

Yeah I'm definitely waiting another week or so come to think of it, I see no progress the last 3 days ut the leaves are getting more yellow. And Pheno 1 looks pretty ready on top at least. Thanks for the prupling tip man, try and post that photo again it's not working. I think about 1 week and the leaves on both should be mostly yellow even up top.

The yellowing is good. A nice organic fade can really bring out some good taste and smell. Just be weary of letting it go too long. I know some people have a tendency to think "it can go longer" and then by the time they take it down, it has a musty flavor and smell. I doubt that is the case here as they look well. I attribute a lot of that to their styles too. I think a few more days to a week should be good for yours. I just hate to see peeps hard work rewarded with anything less than exceptional. Peace!
