Myco, I can picture you in those over-sized pjs, LOL. Sorry to get you going as well, but the state of affairs in America is sad and it's so hard to make the right changes when there are so many influences.

Anyway, here are some flower shots from this am...back on the plant discussion.

Nice shots bro, just beautiful. Sorry about the rant before, I really hope I don't offend people, but everything I said was true unfortunately. I really like that top picture, kinda trippy. The leds sure look to be doing their job. Peace out.

Dude, we are all prone to some form of gluttony. After all, we are human beings and we want to enjoy life. I just think we have become a society of excessiveness.

I tell my son all the time, "balance, life needs balance". Even healthy behavior, that's obsessive and over the top, can be un-healthy for you.

Edit: Think I will go throw a dirty sock in my grow room, just to prove my point!

I get you man. People have a strong natural tendency to do what makes them happy, everybody does it in one form or another. It's all about balancing your life in total, good, and bad. I think as long as the balance is good, and you're happy, whatever. I just don't dig when people pseudo handicap themselves, and expect special treatment. Life is all about choices, and when YOU make bad ones other people shouldn't have to pick up the pieces, you know. Peace out.

Those statistics are so dang sad Pros, good grief brother. Last time I was at the hospital I asked for some bottoms instead of the ol` open backed dress thingy. They gave me a pair of draw string pajamas that I could have made a friggin tent out of. I asked what I was suppose to do with these as I weigh 110 wet with clothes on, and their response was tie it around your waist a couple of times if you have to, it's one size fits all. I just thought to myself, only in America would the universal size be "HUGE"! I mean really people WTF is going on when you can make sails out of somebody's pajama bottoms. Don't let them lie to you about comfort factors with MRI being too uncomfy, and that's why they have the open ones now. Way too many people weren't fitting in them, and that's why they have open ones now. I'm sure technology would have come along sooner or later, and the design would have went this way, but I talked to a tech, and he was telling me how he had to take somebody to a zoo to get an mri on them before. A ZOO people are you friggin kidding me, good grief. The tech told me that there is a Scrubs episode where they had to take someone to the zoo to get them an mri, and I was rolling on the floor. If you have a glandular problem or something ok, you should be overweight, but if you just sit around eating that's messed up, you know. There is way too many health gym's around to be riding rascals everywhere people. Most of the people that get those scooters claim they have knee, and joint problems, but if you're 150lbs over weight, you're gonna have joint problems, good grief. It seems like half the handicapped parking is taken by obese people, and they're all parked at the grocery store. You see those huge people hovering around on the store shopping cart scooters pulling an extra cart behind them. You just want to ask them "Are you serious?" as they roll bye bumping it all into you, while you're holding your basket of organic veggies. I admit, I'm underweight, but I'd rather hoola hoop through a cheerio than be addicted to them. Sorry about the rant people. Peace out.

LMAO

why do this pictures spring to mind

We eat less meat in our diets (organic, grass fed - very expensive), but better quality. Big steak for me is 6 oz. fillet, aged, prime, grass-fed, Wagyu processed at my local butcher. Simply amazing and I only have it once every couple months. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Here are a few sad statistics on the U.S.

Each day, 1 in 4 Americans visits a fast food restaurant
In 1972, we spent 3 billion a year on fast food - today we spend more than $110 billion
McDonald's feeds more than 46 million people a day - more than the entire population of Spain
French fries are the most eaten vegetable in America
You would have to walk for seven hours straight to burn off a Super Sized Coke, fry and Big Mac
In the U.S., we eat more than 1,000,000 animals an hour
60 percent of all Americans are either overweight or obese
One in every three children born in the year 2000 will develop diabetes in their lifetime
Left unabated, obesity will surpass smoking as the leading cause of preventable death in America
The average child sees 10,000 TV advertisements per year
Only seven items on McDonald's entire menu contain no sugar
Willard Scott was the first Ronald McDonald - he was fired for being too fat
McDonald's distributes more toys per year than Toys-R-Us
Diabetes will cut 17-27 years off your life
McDonald's: "Any processing our foods undergo make them more dangerous than unprocessed foods" The World Health Organization has declared obesity a global epidemic
Surgeon General David Satcher: "Fast food is a major contributor to the obesity epidemic"
Most nutritionists recommend not eating fast food more than once a month 40 percent of American meals are eaten outside the home

pretty scary info, don't really get it tho, how can so many people think it taste good ? its crap ! for me McD was something of the 80ish fun to try back then, but for the love of God they still sell the same 20ish products, wouldn't even eat it if it was healthy, and they paid Tax

only fast food I ever buy is some Chinese now and then (like once a month maybe) I enjoy to make my own food, then I also know whats going in

btw
once read this article about humans food and how it develop trough history, cant remember the exact numbers, but its like millions of years as gathering/hunting and 2K of farming and 100 years of processed food, we are simply not "made" for it, our genetics is build on meet/fish and berries and such, not Mcfeast

studies of old bones also proofed that the "old" human had less health issues, the farmer Vs the hunter/gather was shorter, fatter and had a shorter life wile the hunter had more muscles was taller and had no trace of life style illness or mutations like cancer !

you don't offend me...let me say that first...but it is common misconception that big people in carts is because they are lazy. Look at me...I have severe sciatica, COPD, and diabetic neuropathy. I was on a pill for the last five years that was supposed to "keep me sane"....

unfortunately over the last five years...that shit made me feel pregnant...wanted to eat even when I knew I shouldn't be hungry..gained weight and ended up in one of those buggies you speak of...I'm off the med now...THANK GOD....and have lost 33 pds and counting..docs told me I would be dead in a few years if I don't have WLS....weight loss surgery...waiting to be done with the dietician and then it is on! one day I'll be jumping through Cheerio's and hula hooping with ya! LMAO

This is why I didn't want to post what I did. I did though, but I said I don't mean to offend. Usually when someone says crap like that, they do mean to offend someone, but i know there are situations that are out of the control of people no matter what they do. This post above is the perfect example of such a situation. Be careful though with weight loss surgery as there are lots of different kinds, and they all have their risks to weigh(no pun intended) I had a nissum fundoplication, it's basically a stomache wrap because I had gerd so bad it ate my esophagaus apart with acid, and the doctors were afraid I'd get cancer from it. I had my wrap done, and now vomitting is a complete nightmare because sometimes it will cause the wrap to close from pressure, and then my stomache will wretch for hours without being able to relieve the stomach contents. Sorry to be graphic, but it happens to people sometimes, but the docs will never mention it, and if you bring it up, they'll skirt it saying almost never happens. I really do wish you the best of luck, just please research what ever option you go with as far as surgery, and inform yourself, some docs aren't the most reliable when it comes to that. With my back the way it is, and my arthritis as well I'll be in a scooter in not too long, LOL. Let me know what you do with yours I might be in the market soon. Peace and love.

Hello all, I am the Burger and I heard good things about the thread here....Rosey recommended you, nuff said. I like talking shop, helping out, getting new and better perspective on this infatuation I have developed. I am part of the disabled community, Epilepsy specifically and CBD's are really shaping up as a treatment that is effective. The news yesterday had a story showing doctors and patients endorsing cannabis that is heavy in CBDs. So, I guess my mission is to breed and seek out strains for medicine. I gotta get stoned a lot is what I hear...rough huh? I am open to any and all comments and suggestions. I want to formally introduce with some awful pics to get this party going. This is Holy Grail Kush and some 91 OG.....two stinkers on day 16 of 12/12.....

Looks good Burger, you too Slipon. Is it just me or is there something about that purple, pink glow that's a little mesmerizing. now that most of the heat is over with those colas are really gonna fill in with that stretch Slip. I can't wait to watch that L.S.D. swell like it does. Did you ever pick up any different beans or decide to go with this for a little longer? I know you said you like strains with heavier C.B.D. Burger, and L.S.D. is suppose to have a decent ratio, and nice T.H.C. stats as well on her. I picked up some G-13 x Skunk#1, and Afghani x Skunk#1 for a little higher C.B.D. counts in my smoke. There are a few strains out there that are getting 60% average in the ratios of the phenos that have the higher cbd counts now. T.G.A. has one called Pennywize, and C.B.D. seeds has quite a few of them. There really is something out there for everyone I think. I just harvested a strain that I think has a pretty high C.B.D. count, but I have no way of testing it. After smoking it though my spine, and joints feel like they bloat with space or lubrication, IDK, it's hard to explain. It's nice though, that's for sure. I thought I would post my pic of the day. It's a small lower flower on my Blue O.G.

Have a great day everyone. Peace and Love.

and I will pick up a few things on friday, a fresh filter, some coco, maybe a tent, and some new strains I think

Ooh yea BTW, welcome Burger :)
