I think most of the hate towards MG comes from the time released nutes. I grew my first plant in MG Moisture Control and did just fine. Turned out to be male though :( Admittedly with time released nutes new growers do have to be really careful about burning. Joint is right though, plants don't care about brands. FF 1-3-2 is the same as MG 1-3-2. Yes I know fox farm doesn't actually have something with that exact ratio.

Thats funny, cuz im starting to think that JointRoller is an asshole. I dont use expensive nutes. I actually dont use nutes at all. I buy $6 bags of generic soil mix, and thats it. I use plain water and other shit they wud have in the wild. No fancy Fox Farms, no bloom booster liquids, nothing.

Fox farm has WAY too much perlite in it. Horse manure compost watered with all purpose MG (the nitrogen high one) and solluble mychorhizae cannot be beaten. If I'm in the city I just by bags of composted manur for 2 to 3 bucks and a bail of peat and mix my own damn dirt.

God I hate seeing pics and vids of unfinished plants for no reason. You can always spot someones first grow when they put up pictures of fricken seedlings and shit.
