Outdoor Grow In City!

When friends go through bad times they sometimes resort to drastic measures. Just a thought.

I appreciate the feedback. Just taking it as constructive criticism. It's going to work even if I have to tone down what I wish to accomplish. More knowledgeable and acting on that knowledge. Back to my viewing and reading. It's called dreaming and dreams do come true!!!

Just start with a few plants and work your way up! You can't be serious in growing hundreds of plants at one time its just ridiculous , even for experienced growers it is massive challenge and considering you want to plant them in urban environment its just a no-go .
My advise : start small with i say 4 -6 plants and then maybe one day you will be able to grow much more on a private farm land .
The bigger you want to climb, the harder you can fall , so be smart and re-think your ideas .

Thanks Garden Boss for the link! That was my second time completely reading the information provided there. Also, I have to repurchase a lot of books with The Growers Bible being at the top of the list. Just trying to stay focused.

Thanks Didi94 for the advice that is well needed! But, I was and am very serious!!! But as mentioned, Patience You Must Have... That's what I must have. Patience. I am just getting my thoughts together and I knew I could come to the www to get some feedback on something I love and would love to do again. And, provide better for my family.

First off OP drop the partners. There's a reason it's rule #1. You're not the first and you won't be the last to try and partner up with your "friends" with huge ideas of making it rich with a monster grow.
Point is you'll be stuck with your "partners" for months.
If your partners have girlfriends, their girlfriends are going to know. So will their girlfriends best friend or friends.
If your "partners" smoke weed then it's a no go. Chances are they'll rip your shit a week before planned harvest date. Have smoke for months. Avoid most contact with you and hell they'll probably even cover up for one another.
While you're high and dry they'll be smoking all your dope and making fat stacks.
Greed, envy and jealousy will flat out turn people. Instead of splitting a harvest 3 ways why not 2? Or even better 1.
You're setting yourself up for disaster here man.
If you decide to proceed in this venture with your "partners" then well we all told you so.

Now that you've taken my words of wisdom and are now going to apply them (if not then reread through that small chapter above until it's etched into your brain)
Now growing plots like that in the city? No sir you're asking for 3 things.
1 To get ripped by your partners (which shouldn't be an issue now)
2 To get ripped by anyone who steps within a quarter mile radius when those suckers go into flower.
3 To show up to your grow at 2am and then get your ass handed to you by LEO. Check out some drug raid vids on youtube. Then check out some vids on the outdoor teams that steak up on cartel grows. Hell yours will be in the city. They can hook up cams to just about anything. You'll never see em.

Now if you've dropped your "partners" you have to get your beans. If you're hellbent on it this thing and want to go with clones as well drop the $ and build yourself a bubble cloner. There's plenty of tutorials in the DIY section. You can pick everything up at walmart or a big hardware store. You can even DIY neoprene sleeves.
Screw getting a little plastic clone thing with a humidity dome and "saving some $"
Build the biggest baddest cloner you can. It's set it and forget it with those. Screw the "learning experience"
Just build one and rarely if ever lose a single cutting.
That single cutting that's now a plant being chopped and trimmed? That cloner just paid for itself x5

Thanks MonkeyGrinder for responding although reluctantly. I am listening without a doubt!!! I am not rushing into this either. Maybe next spring. I just want to be mentally prepared and kind of know the things I am up against. I grew once in my home and did pretty good being the first time indoor. I got a lot of information from someone named MistyGanjaTree! Has anyone ever heard of that name on any particular site? Anyway, thanks once again!!

No prob. Just get a practice run going. Also order a batch of beans and get yourself a feminized seed run going. The last thing you wanna do is mess with males after a long spring and summer of taking care of them.

Well, whenever the time came I had planned on having a line of mothers. I would get all of my plants from cloning off the female. That lessens my chances of having males. I am somewhere near Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. What I am thinking has been thought of and done before right here in this area with success! I am after the knowledge and am trying to stay focused on the bigger picture! Thanks!!

you my friend are going to fail... your dreams are just not realistic. like others have said cut your grow down. shit... 20 plants require a lot of work and attention to pull decent quality and quanity off of. this will be my 8th year growing and never did i dream of 200-300 plants. but as for my advice if your gonna go through with it id count on losing 50% soo if you want 200 at end of season plant 400. there are more variables to account for when growing outdoors. Pest, varmints (2 and 4 legged) and just the common plant diseases. and definitely place those in the ground, pots are more noticable. but that doesnt mean you cant dig holes and fill with your own soil. to keep animals from digging your adolecent plants up sprinking human hair around the base and for the most part they stay away.

Once again, thanks!! I am a firm believer now that my thinking is somewhat far off than I anticipated. Napoleon Hill getting the best of me with Think Big Grow Rich!!! Knowledge is key and you all have been extremely great help in your feedback. I am going to continue reading and trying to relate to these things I have come across here RIU!!!

Especially in camouflage grow bags...nobody could see them then

Unless you want to drive out a bit I would suggest to only do a few plants if the city is your only option. I dont mean to sound like a douche bag but Ive had it happen to me in the past, and I only did about 25 is various locations. Although I do know someone who scattered some bag seeds out near the DVP and had lots of stinky(not the good stinky) shit-like tasting buds

Don't think I ever thanked you for the feedback. I have been reading a lot here at RIU and have had to reevaluate a few things. Thanks Krytend for the suggested number. Much more tangible goal for a first time semi major challenge. And, I have reconsidered the partner aspect of it as well. There are some amazing grows found here. And some amazing growers, novice and experts work that is very informative. I am very appreciative of you all for helping me to further see me dream come true! I am high tooo!!

I love to smoke it even though it's illegal in the 28-29 other states here in the US. I wish I could provide my family without repercussion from it. But, anyway. Thanks!! I will succeed!!!
