Outdoor Odor Masking

Hey everyone.. i'm growing on a small patch of land that isn't seriously remote but is very well hidden. I went to my plot of 12 females and I saw ATV tracks about 20 feet from one of the babies! :finger: It wasn't noticed but it is close to a trail which is mowed and maintained, and it seems people like to ride back there.. I'm not so much worried about them being stumbled upon, but does anyone know a good way to mask the smell once they seriously start to flower? Thank guyssss!

Toke onnnnn :joint::joint::blsmoke::joint::joint:

plant mint and rosemarry in a huge patch on the opposite side a bit down wind... a huge patch... and mulching with cedar bark really helps... I have witnessed both these methods working... again make sure to plant the mint, rosemarry, basil, and any other stinky herb well away from your plants, and down wind, don't underestimate how much it will take.... TONS of the other herbs... there are other ways I think... Im just not sure what.... Hunney suckle and other sweet smelling plants work good.... dead animals.... etc.

i have to wonder whether dead animals might be bad for people that might come out with dogs.

Thanks for the tips everybody! well this isn't a place people will be walking there dogs so i don't have so much to worry about with that.. I was trying to see if there was somewhere i can buy skunk spray. Cause not only will people wanna be far away from it but it will seriously over power the smell. Any ideas... keep em comin! Thanks

The ATV tracks could be your local sheriffs or Game Warden also ... Be careful Go to Cabelos and buy a batch of Stink Bait and leave them in trees with holes in the container to let the stank out

I did worry about it being a cop or something, but the route taken around seemed pretty random and i think it was just some people joy riding. It is a no hunting no tresspassing anyway.. so i don't see why a cop would wander back there anyway.. but you don't think the stink bait would make someone curious and want to find what is making the smell?

Game Wardens check the No Tresspassing lands to look for pochers ect. Trust me on this friend . Unlikely it was one tho . As for the bait focus them on trees on the other side of your grow line . that way they might head the wrong way looking for nothing . Good Luck Friend

i would plant some mint and lavender, and also try to hide them the best you can.
if people cannot see them.
the plants will go unseen.
i have some in my garden with plants planted around them and nobody ever sees them, just dont show anyone they are there.
but mint is good at masking smells.
if people smell your plants and see mint they will think its the mint.
lavender is good also"aswell" and also i try to trimm the big fan leafs cos they give the plant away.
so far nobody has seen my plants, and plenty people have been in my garden.
even the police when they were looking for a burgaler, the police were stood right next to my plants, but they are hidden by other plants.

Exactly. I'd give you +rep, but I am temporarily rep-disabled.

Mask the smell with something mundane, and legal. A dead skunk should do the trick. Roadkill is easy to find.

dead skunk is not a bad idea. i wouldn't want to have to transport it though ... maybe there's a synthetic source for skunk-stink.

still ... those fuckers smell from 100 yards, not to mention a few inches. i'd worry i would smell like skunk indefinitely.
