Outdoor plants stopped growing

I have about 30 plants outside that were all growing great, but then about a month ago they just stopped growing. They all look healthy, besides a little bit of purple on the tips of the new growth. There is no signs of anything wrong with the plants, they just stopped growing and I cant figure out why. In the last month in a half, they have not even grown an inch. They are not root bound. Does anyone have any suggestions on why they just stopped growing?

Your not providing enough information to make an assessment. Could be too cold based on your purple tips comments, but with no other info or pics, not much to go on.

When did you start them, and how long have they been outdoors? What are the lowest temps tou have experienced since the plants have been outdoors? And are you seeing any signs of sex showing and early flowering.

My guess is they either got stunted by the cold or started flowering early and will have to reveg. Some plants pull through eventually but it's possible they will never recover. I would start a batch of backups just incase and do some research on the best time to plant in your area. Where I am, I would put seeds out as early as March/April, but can't put clones out until mid May or they will start to flower early and be stunted.

After taking a close look, they do have little pistils here and there. The lowest temps they have seen is around 45°F, so I don't think it was too cold for them. I am going to go with your guess that they are stunted from trying to flower to early. Any ideas on how to get them to snap back in to veg? I have a 1000w hps light, should I throw them under that for a few days? Any ideas?

Pics would be helpful. And planting date. Even a guess as to what month you stated them or how many weeks/months they are.

This early in the season it's probably just the temps..I have 60+ plants in my greenhouse that are growing like crazy, the plants I put outside two weeks ago have slowed to a crawl. Once the ground soil temps rise they will kick it into gear and start growing fast again.

They'll turn around..I have some early finishers that are very photosenitive and started throwing out preflower hairs…They go through a phaze of looking funky and then revert…Our days are lengthing at something like 3-4 minutes per day..They'll sense that and reveg on their own.

Yep. My heavy indica Grape Ape strain looks like she wants to start throwing pistils even though I waited until mid May to plant.
