outdoor super soil grow

I'm growing jillybean and purple berry outdoor in 30g smart pots. I've been using subcool's super soil recipe I used 50/50 super soil and roots organic its working great the plants have been completely healthy with just adding water. I did have to top dress about 2 weeks ago but I didn't have very much left over .one plant is turning light green and the other ones are starting to lighten up to I've used all the super soil I have I was woundering what should I use to feed it now? Should I go get more of the.ingredients and just top dress them with that or should I make a tea I also just got bud swell the powder let me know what u guys think this.is my first organic grow thanks

i have resorted to feeding my ladies at this point in the season too. i am using most of the whole line of earth juice products and formulating based on individual plant needs. bloom, catalyst, meta k, micro and hi brix. although bloom would probably be enough. another option: you could also top dress with ewc and powdered bloom bat guano. separate from the aforementioned feeding you can also brew up aact to up the biology in your containers. a good air pump, ewc, kelp and molasses is all u need for a good aerobic tea

ya I think I will be using botanicare grow/bloom along with their liquid karma and some maxicrop. Of course a nice tea never hurts either :)

How often do you use snowstorm is it once a week like purple max
you use it starting in veg all the way through flower. Almost the plants whole life. Purple max I think is applied the same, just in smaller doses because its much stronger nutrient than snow storm ultra

no. these are very powerful concentrates. not your typical plant food. I use it every other watering, on the off day I feed blackstrap molasses or cal/mag if needed. Once a month I feed with just plain water

do you use cal/mag with every feeding? just wondering because I use r/o water and have been reading the threads about cal/mag being added to help with deficies, but no one says how often they add it.

There is no schedule for cal/mag. you only use it when needed. its not really food, more like taking vitamins. Look for signs on leaves OR if you do want to use it with every feeding, use much less than the directions say per gallon. If you are running R/O on SS, then you definately need cal/mag or nutrients with cal/mag already in it.I'm using bud candy instead of molasses on my current grow. Bud Candy has a lot of magnesium in it already, So I've cut back on the cal/mag a bit. Most cal/mag products are a chemical derived from calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate, so take it easy, not too much. note (get a cal/mag with iron in it, a very important trace element)
