How does outdoor pot go in terms of quality when compared to indoors?

Indoor grows are much easier when it comes to quality. As long as you have it set up correctly for light, watering, and nutes you'll get consistant grows every time.
Outdoors introduces too many variables, (bugs, animals eating the plants, pot thievrs, etc.

well grown, and babied outdoor hands down. Some of it depends on the strain, but generally speaking....outdoor.
Quality encompasses a lot more than overall potency. Paletability, quality of high, aesthetic appeal, and weight are all things you have to take in to account when talking about "quality" . In my experience, the best tasting, best looking, best smoking buds are usually outdoor.....my outdoor to specifically

I still have hopes for outdoor but have only gotten off one plant the pests always get it no matter what. Deer are crazy but i have had much success indoor its just easy when everything is controlled.
I have much respect to outdoor masters.

Ya my pops talks of when he was a young lad in florida he grew giants and its just not the same up north

In general terms outdoor buds vs indoor buds (same strain) are more potent.
Outdoor buds appearance is also a little different in that they (out) are a little darker and more rustic looking than the same strain's buds grown indoors.
However the tradeoff is that it is more difficult to bring buds to harvest outside because there are soooo many potential problems...weather...hail, torrential rain and wicked wind and hungry critters and two legged marauders and bud blight and PM.
more can go wrong in the great outdoors...it takes more diligence and perseverance to succeed.

So basicaly you guys are saying that the quality, cuz when you say quality were talking about poitency, is better outdoors than indoors just more risky?

I do nothing but outoors. as stated, free natural sunlight, and pest and bugs can be controlled and the best yeilds will come from outdoors. (imo). the risk of indoors would be greater than outdoors, I think! again (imo)....
i find that yield, flavor/smell and potency are much better in my outdoor crops - i think its because the plants have a wider variety of micronutes when planted in soil. plus all the other micro-beasts that are everywhere outside. only thing i prefer from indoors, aside from being able to grow all the time, is the looks. but if looks are your main concern in your smoke, seems your priorities are misaligned.

Although I do cherish a nice looking plant in all of it's glory, but like you said, in the end it won't matter! lol
