Oxygen Absorbers?

Hello,

Would it, so to say, freeze the cure if I added some oxygen absorber packs in the jar? I know oxygen has it's role during curing, but at some point if you want to just preserve the product as it is, could you do this instead of using vacuum sealed bags?

Happy growing,

R.

Do not use those silica packs. Look for boveda humidity control packs or integra boost backs, they will sustain relative humidity depending on the cure state of your material, and just swap them out when they get dry or feel like sand. I do that every couple months for long term storage materials

Hey, thanks for the reply. I wasn't talking about the humidity though, I was talking about the oxygen content in the jars.

What you want to do is use nitrogen gas as a inert gas to Displace the oxygen, and yes , preserve the dope from oxydization so get a big climber of nitrogen gas. And blow it in the bag.

A vacuum sealer is what you're looking for. No further curing without oxygen, right? I dont know, I'm not a doctor.
